Yep, the bars are closed on debarkation morning. You can get tea and coffee from the dispensers on the Lido/
I have ordered sodas from the bar while waiting to debark. They just got added to my final bill.

I cruised last week and unaware of any early and late line. Two lines. One was already wound around out to the street. I asked if our boarding area or anything made a difference and was told nope. Not until you get upstairs and then they call by hc, then A01, A02 ...
Not a thing mentioned about early and late and I was in the 2nd mass pushing, not even lined up, just a mass waiting until they started our area after they finished first area.
They do call boarding in order upstairs.
That's so frustrating. My last cruise a few years ago they were good about checking boarding times. Was hoping it would be the same.

It is on the news here constantly now. Every news cast around: Covid, Covid, Covid, then lack of testing available.
I guess my news market didn't get the memo 😂OR maybe there actually IS a shortage 💁♀️

I think what people are stressing about is media controlled.
- The media has stated there is a shortage of tests available
- The media has stated that the turnaround time for results is longer: 2-3 days instead of 1-2
- The media has scared people into believing they will get covid.
I understand it. Our problem is we cannot take more days off work to get tested. If we could, the rapid test result is how we would have gone. Unfortunately, we could not take time off work or school Thursday or Friday to have it done for a Saturday cruise. Much easier to do the at home test for us.
I actually haven't seen a single report from the media regarding test shortages. I have real and actual knowledge of the shortage we had here last month.

Curious where this info is sourced from, can you provide a link or citation? I like to have multiple perspectives info sources in my toolbox so to speak.
It's on the testing sites.

No, they were not recovering from COVID-19. It's easy to get false positive is you don't swab correctly.
-
Aww so sorry. 😢

Several people here have reported getting false positives.

From the online gifts shop you just enter their name and the month they're sailing.

Has anyone used curative for their pre-cruise test? One just opened about 5 mins from my house and they have plenty of appts available but they only do PCR tests. I asked and they said turnaround time is 1 - 2 days but was wondering if anyone here has actual experience with them.
TIA

Thanks!

Wasn't there a post a while ago about someone who got kicked off the ship because they didn't have their medication? And it was in a carryon that they put in their room, with the door open? Then it went missing and they accused the room steward?
I woudln't put anything on a deck where everyone else could just walk by and take it.
Most people have their luggage sitting in the hallways unattended. How is that any different?

First off I think thats really strange that it's cheaper but the deal Carnival is giving away don't make sense.
I think the issue will be you getting a balcony for 4 people when you are only booking 2 people.
It was less expensive for us to book 2 rooms over a room for 3. We're using both rooms though.

If we just want general admission do we still need to make a reservation first?
-
Will the balcony room have enough beds? I know they have a couch that can be made up but someone might be sleeping on the floor.

HMC is gorgeous. We rented a cabana which was awesome and pretty much just relaxed and did some beach snorkeling all day.
-
Yeah, i think I'd go by myself also in that scenario.

My favorite ship! Thanks for the details about your testing experience. Looking forward to the rest of your cruise!

tMy daughter asked if I would get mad at her if she tested positive. I told her none of us have control of that situation. We can only do so much to prevent contracting and will hope what we are doing will still work. But if any of us test positive, then we cancel and start the marathon of recovering all that we can from what was spent.
Bless. 💚 I think us adults forget how much the kiddos hear and absorb what's going on around them and how it stresses them out too.

Ah. I still have 27 days until i get that one then. 😊

I wonder how many cancellations there's been because of one person testing positive. 😢

Oi, please don't lie on the health questionnaires. WTH 😑

Curative testing experience
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
We were on the October 16 Breeze sailing and even though everyone was masked must of the time we wanted to get tested again when we got back just to be safe.
Curative is a PCR test so we didn't use them before sailing because we were worried about getting results back in time. Turned out to not be a problem! We scheduled tested for Monday the night before and we just got out results back. All in all very easy and stress free.
