I would call to check on the status of the waitlist. We have done this several times over the years and been moved while we were on the phone each time, often just a day or two after we were placed on the waitlist, to begin with. Sometimes we had to call more than once but never more than 3 times.

It is not open for drop off. The first day is for signing up and facility tours.

Is it cheaper to buy before sailing or on board?

Taking advantage of this "Sale" would make my cruise $1000 more than my current booking. :(

The one drink per person rule only really applies to the alcohol plan. My DH and I have been able to order both a beer and a mixed drink while seated at a bar where it was clear we would consume both ourselves. I think this is largely a judgment issue and is done mainly to prevent sharing the drink package. DH and I have successfully carried cases of water on in the past at several different ports with no issues whatsoever. We did not do this our last cruise and will not do it on our next because the alcohol plan now includes bottled water. We often ordered two of these each anytime we were requesting water and were always accommodated.

We have taken a taxi from the Radisson. 4 of us with all our luggage took about 5 mins. Gave the driver a $20 and he gave me his card so we could call him directly when we got back. Well worth it

Also we were dropped off right at the terminal. Luggage went from back of taxi right onto a porters cart.

I have booked my minor children in their own cabin with no problems. I would try again tomorrow.

Great review- I'm wondering how easy is it to get milk during the day (my kids drink lots of milk)

I have never been on Anthem, but I have been on several other Royal Ships. Milk was always freely available for my kids in the pizza place, the cafe, and the windjammer as well as the main dining room. You should have no issues if you don't see it just ask they stock plenty.

I booked a Cat X guarantee on Anthem for Nov 2017 in Oct 2016. The cabin was assigned in Early Dec 2016. We have not yet made the final payment.

I am also on Nov. 4th anthem cruise. I can't wait

Hi, about 400 days ago I booked 2 rooms for our up coming Anthem Cruise. The 2 rooms suggested by the web site were adjoining but not connected. That was fine with me, but now, 54 days out, I started completing our setsail passes and find out, our family is split in 2 different muster stations. Is this a regular occurrence? Do I really need to try to change room locations to avoid this?

 

I assume it is probably too full now to easily find another 2 adjoining rooms. I don't really mind if for 45 minutes or so we have to go to 2 different muster stations but in all reality, in the very very slim chance that we would encounter an emergency and we had to gather to muster stations, I don't think I'd be willing to split up the family.

 

I know I'm really expecting too much that the RCCL web site IT system would take muster stations into consideration when booking 2 rooms side by side :rolleyes: I think I was luck enough that it could even find 2 side by side rooms.:D

 

 

EDIT: I'm going to assume this means they will NOT be willing to open our balcony divider.

 

Does this also mean we will get 2 different room attendants?

My family had this same situation on Freedom in 2015. My husband and I were at one muster station and our children in the connecting cabin were at another. We took the children with us to muster explained it to the crew member and they were counted as present. There was no fuss.

Ranger cookies are what the Royal Promenade Café did not have EVERYDAY on my recent 7 night cruise on Freedom of the Seas....

They did not have them on my last cruise on Freedom either. When my kids asked they acted like they did not exist. The kids were very disappointed.

We found the best place for specialty coffees on Anthem was La Patisserie. They make a great Cafe Mocha.

Mocha's are yummy

You can get specialty coffees at Cafe Promenade and restaurants. Since you have a package, I suggest you try them all and decide for yourself what is "good".

Hi All

My family has booked Anthem of the Sea 11/4/2017 departure (Otherwise known as Jersey Week). We have never sailed this ship before though we are Platinum members and have sailed several Voyager Class as well as Freedom Class ships in the past a couple of them out of Bayonne.

We were hoping to find cruise compasses for that week of a previous year. If those are unavailable we would like a look at the 7 night Bahamas itinerary for informational purposes. If you sailed that week and you have them, could I take a look? ;)

We have the beverage package. This new version includes specialty coffees we have never had before. Where is the best place to get them and what is good?

DD will be 15 this cruise. Did your teen enjoy the organized activities? What was not to miss.

DD 9 is anxious to know what kind of cookies are available. Do they have ranger cookies? Those are her favorite.

If they each have the package, they will feel comfortable discarding a drink that they may have left unattended. You don't want to take any chances with anyone else having put anything in their drinks.
