All my suite bookings through 2026 still include the phrase Complimentary Specialty Dining Mimosa Breakfast, except for the Sun, where we will have the Signature Dining Room. So, I am not inclined to believe the "news" is accurate. I think it could have been a matter of yup, not in a Specialty dining room on the Sphere Class since the Signature Dining Room is already the Suite dining room, there is a separate dining room for Reserve Class as well.

Each class of ships has it's nuances, and this could have quite easily been a nuanced answer to a question that was not completely understood. I don't think anyone would intentionally misrepresent info, but could have easily misinterpreted the answer.

I agree with you and that is what I thought s well!

  2. On FB Elite Group someone posted that they were told by Princess that the suite breakfast in Sabatini's (or Crown Grill) is being discontinued and will be held in the Reserve Dining room (along with Club Class - makes no sense) - can anyone confirm this vs rumors and mis-information?

One possibility I suppose is that on the Sun Princess only it will be held in the Suite DR so no need to be held in a speciality restaurant.

  3. On the Royal class ships there is no "Thermal Suite" which is free for Suites on the Grand class ships (Crown, Grand, etc.). The Enclave is a paid thing in Suite or not on Royal Class ships.

  4. Hi on Emerald you have club class dining; which is great. You will have free dinner in Crown Grill on first night of cruise. You will also have breakfast available in Crown grill every morning; there is no Sabitini's on Emerald; there is Curtis Stone Share. You have free laundry service; you have one free mini bar setup. If you don't want that you can ask room service to remove mini bar and they will give you two coffee cards. You have priority boarding when you check in. There should be a suite desk at the terminal; it should take less than ten minutes to check in once you pass security. You will receive fruit basket and snacks during the cruise. Snacks usually are delivered mid afternoon. ** We had family suite on Emerald last July. It was awesome; service was great and our room was very nice

Sadly no free diner in Crown grill - its a 4 day cruise - only for 6 and over -

  5. Afternoon tea is always nice...we are Elite and so get double mini bar set up - if you don't drink you can trade for soda or coffee card - there are not really any secrets besides what is listed online - we are on your sailing so will see you in Sabatini's for breakfast - we travel in suites and this is our favorite perk...if it was a 7 day you get 1st night in specialty but being only 4 days that perk does not apply...

  6. I will not make excuses for Princess. I hope you get your issues addressed . I do understand your disappointment given the price paid.

We do not book a suite, can't afford to. We book a mini. We do insist the bedding be changed daily and they do after we to talk to the supervisor of housekeeping for that deck.. Which we do the first day we arrive.

I'm always fascinated how folks behave on "land" - insisting on bedding be changed daily by talking to the supervisor of housekeeping - why not just ask the steward - does your maid change your bedding daily at home? :o

  7. Does anyone know if VS E733 on Emerald *and like ships) is bigger in size than D737 - I know D737 has a larger balcony - I'm interested in cabin size - the website says 491 sq ft versus 460 sq ft (not always reliable) - thought I'd ask the experts though :)

  8. In fact on this particular cruise with discounts the lowest CC price we saw was $567 and for the PH $977 so before taxes $1,134 for CC and $1,954 for PH....so add in the $200 = $1,334 so the OP saved $620 by taking the upgrade...seems like a pretty good deal to me!
