Some friends who've visited Venice before recommended the Hotel Canaletto (near Rialto and St. Marks Square). Has anyone stayed at this hotel? TIA for any info.

I found this website about the Marathon, but I've never been to Venice. Not sure what the impact will be for those trying to get to the airport that morning.

Thanks for the good info. I'm worried, we are on the Star returning & Disembark on 10/28/18 which we just found out is their annual Marathon where many roads will be closed. We have a 1:15pm flight out of VCE, trying to figure out best way to get to the airport that morning. Open to suggestions. TIA

The above posters are correct. On Grandeur now in a Triple. We easily fit 2, 28" suitcases and 2 carryons under our beds. You might have to move some stuff to the side that the cabin steward stores underneath (plastic blanket covers, railing & ladder for bunk.

I'm on Deck 2 in a Cat F outside cabin. Do the showers in the cabin bathrooms have curtains or a glass door? Thanks!

Royal now cancelling most cruises till 11th May

Not quite the same interpretation per my recent phone call to RCCL. My husband & I are booked on 5/15/20 Adventure of the Seas departing Bayonne, NJ with stops at Halifax and St. Johns (both Canadian ports).
I just got off the phone w/ RCCL, they said I am not eligible for a refund because:
1. This cruise sails on 5/15. They expect to resume service on 5/12.
2. I said, but this cruise is scheduled to make 2 stops at 2 Candana ports--the Canada ports won't open until 7/1. After checking w/ a supervisor, she came back & said, "no refund because this sailing begins & returns to U.S. ports. It is not a Canadian cruise." What the heck logic is that? This is beyond frustrating!
