  1. You’re welcome. We haven’t sailed that class yet (soon! Lol) but it looks like AO is a lot bigger on that class of ship. I had one in 3-5 , one in 6-8, one in 9-11 and my goddaughter in 12-17.

The 4yr old was scared by the chaos, the 7 yr old went to every single session , the 9 yr old liked it but only went to the night session a few times. My 14 yr old goddaughter kept trying but no other kids ever showed up [emoji38]

I heard our sailing had between 600-900 kids so it was CRAZY in there :/ after the few days it seemed to quiet down in there

Oh no!! My 12 year old daughter is soooo looking forward to being in the "Teen" group on our 6/1/18 sailing. I hope there are others that actually show up!! Thanks so much for the info!

  2. As others have stated, most medical emergencies are unexpected. I have a chronic condition, MS, and I’ve been in remission for over two years. Even though I run marathons, get my scheduled infusions, and do everything I can to stay healthy, I could relapse at any time. I’m paying for a vacation too. Those with chronic conditions shouldn’t stay home so as to avoid the slight possibility of inconvenience to other passengers.

  3. I’ve cruised several times with my kids, now aged 7 and 11. They went on their first cruise when they were 3 and 7. They love the AO. On our last cruise on Oasis in Jan 17, I let our then 10 year old daughter sign herself out. They DO NOT allow that on port days. We left both kids in AO last cruise because they can’t SCUBA dive. It’s totally up to you but the staff is very, very competent. I felt comfortable leaving my kids with them. You would know in the first day or so if your kids and yourselves are comfortable. Have fun! Your kids will have a blast.

  4. Ok, even though I *think* I have all my ducks in a row, I'm freaking out a little.... About two years ago, I was awarded sole custody of my daughter after her Father had a car accident and DUI while en route to pick her up for their weekly visitation. Prior to the accident, we had joint custody. The last cruise we were on was 4 years ago and he had to give me written permission. I'm really hoping that RCL isn't going to require that this time around. I have her passport and all the legal paperwork that specifies I have sole custody. That's got to be enough right? We leave 1/29!

    Thanks,

    Leslie
