When I was on the Valor in December, they did not serve the pub food, but they did give fried pigeon peas and plantains as bar snacks - like you might get pretzels or peanuts in a regular bar. They were really tasty and different. Great to munch on while having a beer or cocktail!

Also, I'll just add that the servers in the Valor Red Frog Pub were among the best and friendliest I've ever experienced. My wife and I loved hanging out in there.

Just have too agree, we too cruised on the Valor in December and the crew in the Red Frog Pub was hands down the best on any of our cruises not just Carnival. The bartender suggested we buy extra beer and take it to the cabin for sea days even suggested buying a pitcher of cocktails for later.

Go into your booking and check your to do list in the cruise manager. That's where I found mine.

Found mine there as well. We just upgraded from a Walkway Interior to an Ocean Suite for $336. That will put us all in with Cheers for $1270 for our March 7 Conquest Celebration Cruise. The mock booking was $2500. My DW and I are very excited as this will be our first suite with 20 cruises in.

Remove Nassau from any itinerary. That'll improve it!

Seriously though, agree with this is the time to freshen things up. It's the cruisers with many under their belts who are going to be the ones on ships to start.

I'd like to see a Western that includes Key West, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and either Mahogany Bay or Belize.

Eastern to include HMC, Grand Turk, St. Thomas, San Juan

Southern- make it a 9 day ABC plus one (HMC, GT, AC)

    More Bermuda options from Florida.

    Tortola Please!!!!

We are booked on the Sensation for September 8th. I just called carnival. They told me I have until June 19th to cancel with a full refund( I have paid in full). They said they havent scheduled the new ports yet for August through December. June and July will be Nassau, Ocho Rios and Cozumel.  If we choose not to cancel they will give us $100 onboard credit to use. If we just decide to change ships we will receive $50.00 per person onboard credit.

We are booked on this one as well. Princess Cays and Nassau are the new ports. We are celebrating our anniversary so we will probably stick with this even though its "Nassau".

  5. I have had a pacemaker for 9 years and have gone on 10 cruises with only minor issues. I tried to walk through airport security because I don't like getting patted down, the system detected the pacemaker. So I told ships security about the pacemaker and they would pull me aside and pat me down. I think on maybe the second or third cruise I would just go through ships security with no problems. The alarm has never sounded.

  6. Great, honest review, thanks for your time, and your photos.

I had to chuckle. I come from an Italian family where cooking is in the blood. No one can cook a steak! In looking at your photos and the steaks at Eataly just confirmed what I had suspected. They can't cook a steak right either.

Looks like we will have a fine cruise.

I'm curious. Why would you sail again, only in the yacht club?

Where we on the same ship. I was not in the YC but after reading your review maybe if I was I would have enjoyed the cruise more. It seems that MSC has put all in efforts into the YC at the detriment of the rest of unfortunate souls that just wanted to have a good vacation.
