  1. We have a delimma... My dad and his wife are booked in a cabin, we added a third guest who now is saying he possibly cannot come... We are 2 weeks to sail date.:eek: Would I be able to cancel him without penalties if my dad and his wife are still going? I'm totally stressing now:(

  2. We are sailing as a big family group. What is a good/cheapest way for all of us to keep in touch with one another while onboard? I would love to be able just to text my son to check on his whereabouts every now and then. And Also to meet up with other family members. I know they have VOOM, but yikes:eek:!!! $11/day per device??? That's way too much for what I need it for. I don't care about posting everything we do to social media , and I'm not trying to keep up with anyone back home. Just want to keep in touch onboard. Any suggestions?

  3. Hello, we are sailing on sept 11 (yaaay:D) on the Liberty of the Seas. We are a group of family members, and we are all booked in Cat K inside. We were thinking about moving 2 of my brother's boys into their own cabin so that we can have more room. Right now they are booked in my second cabin. The only cabins that are available right now that are close to ours, are the Cat N inside. But the problem is, they are GTY cabins. We would gladly pay the price necessary if we could ensure they would be right next to us... But there's nothing available. What are the odds of RCCL putting them near us if we put them in a GTY?? The oldest son is 18, the other is 16.

Also, would we retain the same rate that we have them booked on or would we revert to current rate? Thank you all so very much for all of your help!!!!:):):)

  4. Has anyone had any success carrying on bottled water or attempted to check bottled water? I read that someone actually put a luggage tag on a 12 pack of water and it was delivered to their cabin.

Also, wondering how many bottles is in the Avian bottled water package that is available onboard for $39 :eek:

    Thanks,

  5. Yes this is on the Liberty of the Seas. Looking at the deck plans, I see the only thing on the forward area that will intrest us, is the fitness center. We are a big family of around 30... We have our kids with us, and none of us drink alcohol... So the bars aren't much intrest to us. The solarium would be great... But we have the kids. Lol. So, it seems as though most of our time will be spent at the aft of the ship. Which is where the youth programs are located, the slides, the flow rider, sports deck, rock climbing wall, dining rooms, buffet etc... So, I'm wondering if moving us to the aft is worth going down to deck 2.

  6. Which would you pick? We have Cat K Iniside deck 6 forward (alllll the. Way forward). We are contemplating if we should upgrade to Cat G Oceanview Aft but it is located on deck 2. The only reason I am am thinking it may be a better option is because everything we will be enjoying on the ship will be mostly Aft. I don't mind not having a window, but giving up the location of deck 6 for a location of Aft.... Is that worth it? Is it better to walk clear across the ship every time I need to go to our cabin, or take the elevator all the way down to deck 2????:confused:

    Would like anyone else thoughts....

    Thanks!!

  7. I wonder if this works if your past final payment date?? We sail September 11!! :D

We booked our cruise at the last Kids Sail free promo and it was actually cheaper than what it was the week before so I booked it. When I saw this Kids Sail Free promo again I thought it was a mistake. I've never seen 2 kids sail free promos in the same season.

We have a family oceanview booked as there are 6 of us. The pricing for FOs is never on the website but II noticed during this sale the price of an inside was about 150 less per person then when I booked during the last KSF sale. So I figured what the heck and called the TA. They called me back later and I actually saved 300$. I was amazed. I've never seen a sale actually lower the price of my cabin with RCI. Crazy. I guess having 4 kids helps.

  8. I have a bit of a dilemma... We have a group mostly family members going on a cruise in September. My brothers cabin was paid for by my dad... Because they have been having a difficult time financially. Our sister-in-law doesn't like us.... At all... Lol. And we are really worried that they will back out at the last minute and it will be too late to get any money back. My brother will feel bad, but I don't think they can even afford to pay my dad back anyway.... So, my question is, would we be able to have some friends of ours pick up the reservation, switching all of the names on the reservation... But leave my brothers name (because he is one of the original guests)... And then everyone would board the ship except my brother? Please don't bash me... I don't know if this is even ok to do??? I am just trying to help my dad not lose his money for nothing...
