We are booked on the Coral Princess 11 day Partial Transit of the Panama Canal next April. There appears to be some confusion over the times of Traditional Dining on this cruise. Princess advised that 5.45 was the early sitting, yet when we received the confirmation it was shown as 5.15 (far too early) We changed it on the cruise personalizer to 5.45 and queried it with Princess who have said that we can have 5.45. We have fallen foul of these types of changes before on an Alaskan cruise where we were told early dining was at 6 but actually it was at 5.30. I appreciate we can change to anytime dining but was just wondering if anyone who has done this cruise can actually confirm the timings.
Was on the Coral for a partial in March 2014 and then early dining was at 530.

That would be awesome. We are doing the land tour starting July 10th and then sailing on the Coral on July 15th.
Hope all is well. Have a great week.
Bummer...won't happen this time. We really want to get the Kenai Peninsula in, we have friends that live there. will friend Frank on FB and maybe we can hook up on other vacations/trips.

Hey Mike and Cathy,
Hope all is well. We booked the Coral as well for July 2015. We can't wait. We are trying to talk Ron and Marion to doing the cruise with us. We had a blast on the Coral in March. Take care.
Chris and Frank
Chris: Which trip in July...just in case we can maybe swing changing ours. Got to love the Coral! Talk to you soon.

Cruise Newbie Alert, Please be gentle :)
Hi everyone!
I've been reading the CC board off and on for several days,
taking notes on the info & tips listed here. Much appreciated!!
Quick question:
Is it possible to order a small birthday cake?
We are celebrating hubby's 60th with a cruise to New England and Canada.
I would like to have a small cake to celebrate privately in our cabin.
Brilliance of the Seas - OS, RCCL
Thank you,
Here is the link to the RCCL gift shop where you can order a cake...call or fax

There is a free service called Dropbox that will create a folder on your computer. Everything you put in that folder will be saved to the "cloud," and also copied to any other computer you have that has Dropbox. This is a great way to share large files.
One of the folders inside the Dropbox folder is a folder called "public." You can create additional subfolders inside the "public" folder. You can right-click any file in the "public" folder and "copy public link" and share a link to that file. For example, here is a link to a photo I took on a Thanksgiving 2012 cruise on the Caribbean Princess:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/28228023/travel/Aruba%20cruise/20121122_105727.jpg
Here is a link you can use to get Dropbox for free:
(Note: If you use my link to sign up for Dropbox I will get a small amount of additional free storage. Feel free to go directly to their site. You will get the same amount of free storage either way).
THANKS! Just signed up for future use with patters! MIKE

Hi Everyone,
We have booked a the Island Princess. We will be in D423.
Thanks in advance for you answers!
I will be on Island's sister ship the Coral Princess in March and staying in D422. Will take some pics viewing down and let you know.
Which Alaska cruise is better? Northbound or Southbound?

We did a land cruise tour that started in Fairbanks and then was S/B on the ship. We went that way in order to get our laundry cleaned (and reused) while on the ship. While it was AWESOME, the ship had run out of things; certain types of beer, different gifts on the ship, etc. It does not get restocked in Whittier. Other than that, it was going to be a once in a lifetime cruise, but we will be going back in a few years to do it again!
