Just booked our next cruise on The Navigator and was wondering if anyone can share their experiences on having an Aft Balcony. We've always chosen a stateroom mid-ship and besides more walking not sure what to expect. TIA

Canaveral is convenient for Disney and we've done Miami and will be doing so again Dec 17. Good to know about traffic issues there.

We had the same wait staff at the 6:00 seating on the same exact cruise. I will definitely post a review of our trip under a new thread. Looking forward to reading more of your review.

We also were on the same cruise with DW and DD 10. Also flew Delta from JFK but on Thursday AM flight. Looking forward to reading more of your review as we had a wonderful time in the cruise especially after reading all the negative nellies out there.

There is a free trolley in OSJ that you can jump on. I am also planning on walking to the forts when we are down there in July. Have a great time!

Within walking distance of the port are a bunch of shops and restaurants.

 

So you'll have time to look around.

We are sailing in July and have a 4 hour exercusion booked. We are planning on spending some time walking sightseeing and possibly shopping upon our return to the port. Any suggestions for us would be appreciated.

Just got off the Adventure on the 15th....we stayed in GS 1248...

 

The ship..it was just what you would expect from a Voyager Class Ship...having sailed the Explorer numerous times and the Mariner 3 times.

Internet worked fine in our cabin, although I only used it twice.

Pool Deck, Solarium, Windjammer, MDR, Promenade, fitness center, spa, all no surprises.

The MDR ambiance is more brighter than usual...liked it very much, although we only ate there on 2 nights.

Was not impressed with Giovanni's...prefer Portofino. Will stay with the MDR next trip.

 

Ships Crew was very friendly and personable...people remembered you from day to day...even the Captain, who we ran into a few occasions and he always remembered us.

 

We booked for next year, same room, same month, different itinerary.

 

We stayed at the El Convento one night pre-cruise, and the Marriott Isla Verde the day after....both very pleasurable in their own way.

Non stop flights to and from home were very inexpensive.

 

All around a very good cruise, nothing spectacular, just very good.

I heard it's a great beach but have the same questions not sure if worth the effort to get there. Thanks for posting them.
