Direct from Mitch Merucci, he will not be back on Anthem until 9/21. We are cruising on Aug. 29 and we are hoping to see him, now we get to meet a new CD for us,

We booked a last minute 5 day cruise on Brilliance just to get away. We were given only 2 choices for dining, either 8:00 or "My Time Dining." 8:00 is way too late for us so we chose the "My Time Dining" We had "My Time Dining" on the Oasis and it was awful. We could never get a decent time or an answer to our questions. We are going to a specialty restaurant 2 of the days, but we want to request a 6:00 seating for the other 3.. Any ideas of what to do? Booking agent said they were the only options that came up. I don't see any "help" type desk on the deck plans. If we don't have an earlier seating, we will never cruise Royal Caribbean again. We've never had this issue on other lines. Thanks!

When you board go to the maitre’d at the dining room, they will try to accommodate you. I would request speaking to the food and beverage officer if you can’t be satisfied.

Does anyone know how long Abe Hughes will be on Symphony when he takes it over on Nov. 9th? He started Aug 25th on Harmony.. do they just do 3 or 4 months before break?

Speaking of the morning show, who was the AM and were they any good? Trying to gather enough info to give the AM List an update since Paulette still seems to be MIA from CC (hopefully she is OK). I believe Moe went to the Oasis.

I really enjoyed lunch at Sabor when I was on Oasis last year. This time on Allure a number of things had changed and I was really disappointed :

 

a). No table-side guacamole made to order. Instead you get the standard prepared version.

 

b). Fixed price with limited options and not much for vegetarians in our group.

 

c). The chicken taco was poor in terms with what you got for the offering.

 

Given the cover charge I expect better and more authentic.

 

I would be interested in other people's thoughts. It is highly popular and was previously one of my favourite venues.

Biggest difference is that Harmony has slides.

Not just that, room decor is different and I think layout is better, two closets in balconies that surround the sofa, USB charging ports at the desk. Royal IQ app is pretty cool, and many stations around the ship where you can use it.

if you had to pick a central park balcony on 11th or 12th floor which would you choose?

We stayed on 11 mid CP, very little pool deck noise and nice view. Also heard music from CP, usually just strings. Staying in the same cabin in November.
