  1. We are driving down for the b2b Triumph cruise and need to park. I've checked the independent lots, but the official cruise port lot doesn't show pricing for 21 days. I emailed and got a surprisingly low quote from them. Even after questioning it, they confirmed the price.

Has anyone who sailed on the similar itinerary in February park in the official cruise port lot? If so, what was the cost?

    Thanks!

We are sailing out of Galveston in January and also got a great quote from the port and were pleasantly surprised. We are doing a b2b2b-26 days so that is where we will be parking. They told us we will have to go in to the office before we park and they will give us a special parking sticker.

  2. I seriously doubt the Legend will return to Tampa. Just does not make sense to me to have THAT LONG of a repo every "off-season". I think if Tampa gets another ship it will be Miracle while Legend stays out west, but I am not even really sure how likely that is either.

My PVP confirmed the Legend will be returning to Australia in August 2014. This does also show up on Carnival's website as a 23 day cruise back to Australia. She also said that the Legend and the Spirit both will remain there.

  3. If you stay at an area hotel the night before, many have a coupon for 40% off parking right at the port.

We usually stay at the Best Western and they do have the 40% off coupon for parking at the port. I assume you just present the coupon at the port when you leave? Is there anyway you can reserve the parking and indicate that you do have a 40% off coupon? I have cruised from PC before, but this time we are driving so not sure how this works.

  4. Lets hope they have some interesting itineraries. We were booked on the Legend for a B2B last fall which was cancelled. They offered to put us on the Sunshine but we declined and I have been crying about it ever since.

I agree would love some interesting itineraries. We love the longer cruises at least a 12-15 day or two 7-8 day and do a b2b or longer. Maybe b2b2b's!!

  5. Great thread - thanks to the OP for starting! We'll be sailing on the Valor in October. We've sailed out of SJ twice before, but I'm still learning new things on this thread. Thanks to whomever posted about the agricultural stickers at the airport when flying back home. I had completely forgotten about those. I'm starting to look at flights and hotels. The Tres Palmas Inn looks great though. We stayed at the SJ Beach Club last time - really neat. We usually just like to fly in, grab a bite and then crash the day before our cruise. The long flights for us leave us exhausted.

A few years ago we stayed at the Tres Palmas Inn and loved it. They have since remodeled and we are booked again in September.

  6. Is anyone else having a problem with entering the new bookings to you "manage my cruise" on Carnival's website? It gives me an error when I scroll down on the birth year and click only part of the year pops up. example : only shows 195 and you can't type it in.

Issue just got fixed! Thanks for all that responded

  7. Does anyone that has been on the Breeze recently know if they have luggage express on the Breeze?

    Thanks in advance.

We were on a b2b in January and they did not have luggage express. They told us they were in negotiations

  8. We've done most of the Caribbean while cruising, and our family didn't want to fly to Florida to catch the boat this year. Only two of us have been to Belize and Roatan, which I told them is worth the trip or worth the aggravation of flying, so most have changed their minds and are going. If you can get a cruise to Belize or Roatan, I would go.

I have to agree, I loved Belize and Roatan. I think my favorite islands in the Caribbean would have to be Jamaica, Curacao and Aruba, though. But my favorite cruises are my Hawaiian cruises! Oh, who am I kidding all my DH has to say to me is "got another one booked yet?" and I am ready to book another one. I feel more secure if I have at least 2 or 3 booked at a time. Lol! It sure helps when you have these cold winter days, gives you something to plan.

  9. I did see where they said Spring and Fall, just hoping that maybe at least June. I don't really care for the itinerary from Baltimore, so I will just wait for some of the other itineraries to open up in the Florida ports We already have the Dream itinerary from New Orleans so we might book one of those. My family hasn't been to Belize or Roatan and I love those ports. Thanks for getting back to me so soon.

  10. How about any prices on Crown? Or Patron? We purchased before and I remember them being a good deal.

Sent from my iPhone using Forums

We just got back from the Breeze b2b on February 1st and don't normally bring back any liquor. The liquor sale on the first night for crown--4 bottles $70.00. The next day we decided to go ahead and get it and it was only $67 for 4 bottles. These are regular size bottles of Crown. I am not sure the "sale" the first day is always as good as you will be able to get it the rest of the week.

  11. Sailing out of Miami in January and have checking BBB in Miami on Safe Cruise Parking. They have a clean record with no complaints. Would like to get some feedback from someone who has used them. Any problems? Was the shuttle wait long? How about the shuttle coming back? We plan on getting to the parking lot around 9:00-9:30 and will be getting off the ship about 7:00.

Thanks in advance for you assistance.

We are also considering Safe Cruise parking in Miami for a January cruise. We will be on a b2b with the first cruise on the 18th. I also want to be at the port by 9:30.
