This is the public transit app used in Stockholm. Worked great for us.

Google Maps can be used to plan public transit travels. It was very effective and when there, gives you scheduled time for each stop.
Download the SL app. You can purchase tickets when you're there.
Do Vasa first. Spectacular to see. We got there around 8:30, went in right away and spent a few hours. Line up was out the door at 11.
Have fun!

If you have a bottle at the beginning of the cruise, they would likely take it and place in storage until the end of the cruise. If you have time after, wait until then.

Thank you Ron and Lana
Noticed that the trip took 2hr on public transport. Since there are 3 of us we'll take a taxi.
Would anyone like to share the ride? We'll probably leave grand hotel (3 min walk from central station) at 2pm
Fyi minivan for 7 pax costs about 90usd.
We had a wait for the 25 bus. I think it was running late.

Here's a screen shot of our Google Maps day in Copenhagen to the pier. We took public transport and got there around 2:30 from near the Central Station.I'm in a similar situation where I only got day of embarkation available to tour Copenhagen. I was thinking of either keeping the luggage at the hotel, tour the city, then check-in late at the pier(around 3 PM), or dropping off the luggage super early with the porters at the pier before heading out to the city. Were you checking in at 3PM, or did you actually walk on the ship by 3PM? Also does anybody know how early does NCL/Cruise port workers can start to accept the luggage curb side?
Thank you

We did exactly that on July 18. You need to be on board by 3. We toured in the morning and took public transit to the pier. We were one of the last people on board. No big line up to go through.

We did the Baltic July 18-27. Smoothest sailing I've ever done (5 Caribbean). Mostly cool, needing a sweater or jacket. We did have lovely weather in Berlin and wore shorts. We lucked out on rain. It was either before or after us in the ports.
Great trip.

It was kind of unclear. We left around 10%, no more than approx $5.

Paid by Credit card. Tips need to be rubles. We tipped 10%

And that goes for all stops. I used a CC for purchases. Look for one that doesn't charge a foreign exchange markup. In Canada it's the Amazon Visa card, through Chase Canada.

We just did that itinerary last week! Gratuity to guide can be in USD. We brought CAN$50 worth of Rubles.
Most places take Credit Cards. Restaurants don't process any gratuity on the machine, you'll need Rubles for that. We tipped about 10% at restaurants.

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Hebron. Near Central Station and close to Tivoli gardens and public transit.Thank you for that helpful information. Since you didn't comment on the Best Western Plus (hotel or area), should I infer that you do not recommend it for some reason? Also, I should have asked earlier but are either of the four hotels easier or harder getting to the airport for the return trip? Thank you, again!
It's a lovely hotel. An older style hotel that's had upgrades. Our room overlooked a central courtyard. The staff was very friendly and helpful on directions to locations.

We just returned from the NCL 9 day Baltic out of CPH.
I had been lurking before the trip and would like to thank Danish Viking for his many tips.
We purchased the City Pass online before leaving Canada. The follow up text with the actual "tickets" never arrived, but the email receipt with the codes did. I screenshot that page, and was able to use it quite easily on the bus.
The 25 bus took us, with our luggage, right to Oceankaj, where we had a short walk to the Terminal to process our boarding.
Thanks

We did this last Saturday night, July 22. Fantastic option. We were on the 2 day Russian Treasures with Hermitage tour. They dropped us off at a Restaurant around 5:30 pm. That seems to be the meeting point. There were people from 2 others shoos on the tour.
We met at 7. The evening started with 3 small shots of Vodka in the van. If you don't drink, don't worry. 2 stops along Nevsky Prospekt.
Do watch out for pickpockets. Not just on this tour, but all crowded places. Never felt unsafe, just be watchful.
After, our guide took us to a trendy hipster area where we could buy our own beverages. Beer or coffee.
Then we did a canal river tour. If you wanted, you could drink more vodka. This was about an hour long cruise.
Great photo opportunities on the canal trip. Because it was the rehearsal for the Russian Naval celebrations, there were many Navy ships in the river.
We're not big drinkers, so if that's a concern, don't worry about needing to drink a lot. It was well worth it as an extra trip.
We returned to the ship around 11:30 pm, then were up and out by 7:45 for an 8:30 start for day 2.

Looks like you had a great time, and thank you very much for answering the questions. We're on this itinerary starting on Tuesday! I've seen different answers for how different cities handle Cash vs Credit Cards, particularly St Petersburg and in Germany.
We've got a nominal amount of Rubles. Did you notice that Credit Cards are taken at restaurants and snack bars (for lack of a better term).
Same for Germany/Berlin. Cash (Euros) or CC? I would assume the bigger outlets would take CC, more curious about a small cafe or souvenir shop?
Thanks again for sharing your experiences!

When is the casino on board open?

"their" **** don't stink. ;-)

Technically no. Book an adult in each, with a child as the 2nd... You should be able to figure out what is next.
