Enchanted, Emerald, and Diamond don't have anything past April 2024.

We're tossing about the idea of either a Greenland or Hawaii cruise, but we need dates and prices!

We are looking for Hawaii also. Will be our 40th Anniversary. Good luck.

  2. Has anyone here been able to tender using a non electric wheelchair. I am use to RCCL, where I've always been able to tender but heard that Princess is not so accommodating I am booked but thinking about canceling. I don't want to be stuck on the ship when I would really like to get off. Thanks.

  3. Hello, I'm an avid Princess cruiser who uses a manual wheelchair full-time. I am wanting to give RCCL a try, specifically Oasis or Freedom Class ships. Can anyone who has been on both lines let me know your thoughts on accessibility? Princess has always been great to me and ensures my accessibility needs are meet to include a spacious stateroom and assistance on/off the ship at ports without hesitation.

    Thanks!

I have always found RCCL very accessible. I have tendered in almost every port with out any problems. I have only been on a Freedom class of the two you are comparing. Cabin was very spacious Staff has always treated me very well. I use a manual wheelchair.

  4. Hi. I'll be cruising with my mom soon and I would like to know what your tour consisted of. Thanks.

Lewis asked us what we wanted to do. We went thru the city and toward the rainforest. You could email him. He was very nice and I highly recommend his tour.

  5. Re Paul Rutter...We did a Halloween cruise on Enchantment in 2012, Paul Rutter was CD. We really liked him, very personable. He was not one to hide away, but was very visible around the ship. He is tall and thin - looked great in his white polyester suit on 70's/Disco night.

We cruised with him in February 2014. We really enjoyed him. Still has the same 70's outfit.

  6. I was just informed by a friend whose husband uses a walker and does not do steps very well that on Princess you cannot get a handicapped cabin if you do not use a wheelchair. Not sure how long this rule has been out.

  7. Donna, has Gordon Whatman retired from RCCL? He was the cruise director on our first cruise (Nordic Empress) and saw him last time on the Radiance. I will never forget the "If I were not upon the seas" skit that was tradition at the farewell shows. I sure do miss that routine - I never laughed so hard - the experience was priceless. Maybe they will bring it back someday...........I sure hope so.

Gordon was the best. I will always remember my husband taking my picture and Gordon jumping into the photo just as it was taken. We were fast friends the rest of the cruise. Always hoped we would cruise together but it never happened.
