We are doing our first PO cruise next month, from Sydney to Singapore, 23 nights. Will there be organised Bridge play? Lessons? Is there a way to find out, if no one here knows? Thanks

We have a hire car and would like to go to Muckleshoot casino and the large outlet centre, so thought we would have the 2 days prior to the cruise, at Auburn. Is this area OK? Car hire firm said they would shuttle us from downtown to Pier 91.

We are going to stay at Sumner, have a hire car. Is it better to return the car to Seatac, or to the depot in Seattle itself. Will the traffic be really busy on a Friday, around 11am? Does Alamo shuttle us from the city to Pier 91?
I am worried about returning the car to the airport, then getting to the ship. I gather the Seattle shuttle does not pick up from the airport. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

We had kettles in our cabin on Explorer of the Seas, ex Sydney to Seattle this year. Cannot work out why some ships do and some don't.

I just called the Australian RCCL number, from the website.

Anybody know the current conversion from AUD TO USD on RCI to buy obc?
Thanks
I called last week and was told .77, but I could not buy casino credits, which is what I wanted. The casino charges 5%, or they did on the Explorer of the seas.

We have just been allocated this cabin and I cannot work out what will be above us. The other side, 1008, seems to have massage room above. Has anyone any idea what wil be up there? Thank you

Have just booked the Explorer balcony special for next April. Thanks to this thread I got a great price, even better deal using our Crown and Anchor numbers. Now, I would like to transfer my booking to a TA that doesn't charge credit cards. Is this hard to do? Thks

We travelled business class, Los Angeles back to Perth on China Southern. All aspects were excellent. They provided us with free 16 hour stopover enroute, at the Pullman hotel. I would have no fears using them again. We are using Garuda Airlines to London in January. I was also looking for a cheaper option one way business class, and this was the best. Guess we'll see how it pans out.

Will we be able to use our FCC for the deposit or will it be considered a world cruise? Thks

I have read on Trip advisor that the town of Ba Ria in vietnam puts on a free shuttle bus between Phu My port and Ba Ria. Can anyone advise if this is true. I am travelling celebrity century in February and it does not appear that celebrity supply a shuttle unlike some other lines.
thanks
Bill
We were there in October on the Sun Princess and there was a free shuttle. Can't remember who provided it. It dropped us off at a supermarket. Not much there but we had been to HCMC before and decided we didn't want to do the long bus trip again.

Have you tried calling the motel..................?
We live in Australia.

I want to email the Springhill suites, Fort Lauderdale but the address I was given by the worldwide Marriott group bounced back to me. Does anyone know the correct address? Thanks
-
I have driven that route several times and it can be done in 20 minutes, or it could take 45 minutes depending on the traffic.:)
So, on a Saturday, what time is better with the traffic? would 9am be good, or 9.30 for a taxi?
-
We are disembarking at San Pedro and will get a taxi to LGB to pick up a car rental. Are we better off, traffic wise, to leave at 8am, or 9am, or a little later? We have said we will pick up the car at 10am, but that should be flexible. We are then driving to Las Vegas. Thanks

Where do you find the OBC noted on your booking? HAL responded to our email very quickly but I don't know where to check it, in our booking. Thanks

We took coke zero and water on board in Sydney and also at ports of call. Had no issues with Oosterdam.
-
We flew to Hong Kong and sailed on Sun Princess, last month, to Sydney. The onboard currency was USD and we were charged $11.50 pp per day grats. Check if the onboard charges are in $A or $US. Think that will be the decider.
-
We did a 23 night from Sydney to Seattle on Oosterdam last year and can't remember being offended by cigarette smoke, as opposed to MSC where smoke seemed to linger. Guess you have to hope you get a nonsmoker beside you, if you have booked a balcony.

We are booked on the Diamond Princess, due to leave Fremantle this Friday. It is posted on our travel documents that check in starts at 5.30pm. Seems like such a long day to wait to board. Is there any chance we can get on earlier? Will there be Immigration officers there to process us?
The ship comes in early in the morning. Haven't found out why departure has been delayed till 9.30pm. Any thoughts?

Does anyone have the Australian contact number to scan and email your current CCL share information to, to get the OBC for Princess and HAL?
We have recently bought shares and it was a hassle get the $250 OBC from Princess. I email all the addresses I had, in the end had to ring to get it done. We have just got home from Sun Princess so asked the Future Cruise person for the Australian number, not the US fax number or postal address as given to us by the Princess Circle rep. She said she'd contact them and leave a message in our cabin. A week later we saw her and she said no one had responded to her so she couldn't help us! Thanks

At San Pedro there are plenty of taxis and shared shuttles available.
But will there be shuttles to Long Beach Airport or will they all go to LAX? Last time we boarded the shuttle from Carnival cruise at Long Beach, the driver did not want to go to Long Beach Airport. The rest of the shuttle people were going to LAX. The organiser told him to go to Long Beach Airport first. He was not happy. This shuttle had been prebooked and paid for on Carnival.

We always stay at the Travelodge Hotel LAX Los Angeles Int'l at 5547 W Century Blvd. They have a free airport shuttle, you have to call or get the information booth at arrivals to call for you. The hotel is an old style motel, but very clean, free WIFI, breakfast and the best, it has a Denny's next door, open 24 hours a day. So, when jetlag hits at 3am, you can go next door for food.

How long after emailing PO UK, with relevant Share information, do you receive confirmation? Is this by email, or is there somewhere in our booking that shows it, like on Princess? This is our first PO UK cruise and I haven’t found their site easy to manoeuvre? Thanks Kathryn
