  1. WiFi calling worked great for me.  I was on (work of course) for over an hour. WhatsApp  is pretty slick too

WhatsApp is the most popular messaging app in 109 countries, according to Android device usage data. It allows you to send messages, pictures, videos and even voice recordings over the internet, rather than using your mobile network. This is ideal for iPhone users communicating with Android users, and vice versa

You show up at the port long before security opens and be in the first boarding group. Then you hope and pray that the priority boarders don’t gobble up all of the passes. When you are finally allowed to board, move very quickly down to The Social (Deck 6 midship) to pull a number to buy a pass. There is a line for Vibe passes and a line for show reservations. Make sure you stand in the right line. You can not buy a pass for anyone not physically there.

We were one of the first to board the Encore last week in priority boarding and went to make show reservations. They were already at number 70 in the vibe line.

How much were the passes is it the 209$ pp for the week? Also how was the Vibe experince with the expansion. Did it still have the Vibe look and feel.....shot oclock, cool towels, fruit skewers...Thank you for any info

  3. Just wondering how many kids and families on average sail on this ship. I ask because my wife and I are looking at the Allure of the Seas for an upcoming cruise and would like some adult time. Dont get me wrong we love kids just, i know on NCL they have the vibe which is AMAZING, private, outside and sunny. Are there any similar outdoor adult only pool areas? Thank you in advance for any repsonses.

  5. Hello I have a spa balcony booked April 7th 2018 on the Escape through CAS. My wife and I have more recently decided to part ways and she is on the reservation and does not want to go. I am 49, I have been on ten cruises (the escape twice) all with her and am trying to talk myself into still going alone...I definitely have concerns as I won’t know anyone, I have drink package, dining package and just cannot wrap my mind around walking into Cagneys or le bistro, alone. We always got the vibe and I would want that for social I guess. I am just not sure at all...the singles have the lounge I think to meet people...any opinions out there on all of this?

  6. Looking for some guidance. I have a decision to make and I am not sure what to do. My wife and I have been on ten cruises and this was to be the next one. I have a spa balcony booked through casinos at sea on the Escape sailing 4/7... drink package, dining package, spa all included. Well recently my wife and I have decided to separate. It’s sad but we mutually agreed to part ways..as you can deduce she is not going....I can go alone still, I assume they will up charge me but I have no idea what to do, just show up alone and board alone?.. I know people solo cruise, but I am def apprehensive about going alone...I dont have anyone else that I know to ask that can go...what to do what to do...

  7. Prepaid tips take the place of the daily gratuity that goes on your account. Staff doesn't know or care that you've prepaid. You can still tip for room service, etc as you wish.

thanks so am I expected to tip for dinner and every drink etc above and beyond the pre-paid? just trying to understand why woul you pre-pay the tips versus doing it all at the end and during

  8. We have pre paid the tips.Does the staff know that you have pre-paid? My question is that recommendations on here are to bring lots of ones and fives to tip for room service etc. Since I have pre paid, what is the expectation from the staff? will it be frowned upon if I am not tipping regularly due to the fact that i have pre-paid and or not tipping extra every time. I will tip above and beyond but just want to be sure that i am not going to be seen differently for prepaying. Thanks in advance fo clarifications/responses
