Doing some board games in red frog.
Did you notice if they had the game Connect Four? We will be sailing on Magic next week and we had fun playing it last year at the red frog.

We bring our 12 X 11 x 9 Coleman 9 quart insulated cooler on every cruise. We love to keep our waters, sodas and beers ice cold for enjoying on our balcony.. It wont leak and you can keep it right on your counter. We put our drinks in it and our steward always ices it up for us. I carry it onboard, filled with nuts, crackers, protein bars, snacks, etc. We even take it with us if we visit a beach while in port with some ice cold drinks. Any of the bars will ice it up for you too.

Anyone cruising out of Port Everglades this Saturday? I know there has been tremendous flooding in that area. Wondering if we will be able to drive there and be able to park at the port. Anyone hear anything?

Anyone been on the Equinox recently? I will be sailing on her next week. My last cruise on her was in 2021. I wanted to know if they have any of the newer slots, like Dollar Storm, Lightning Link, Dragon Link, Huff N Puff, or Samurai 888. I also wanted to know if they had the card game, Let it Ride with Three Card Poker. Thanks in advance for any casino info.

Getting ready to take a cruise out of our home town. Last time we did, we had some small bottles of DietCoke since I like it for breakfast. They were taken from us when we went through security. We were told we could only bring can soda. Wondering what the current policy is for taking soda and water on the ship. We are leaving out of Baltimore
If you prefer Coke, better bring it with you, as they now have Pepsi products on board.

Thanks. I have a small travel one, that I will bring. I got spoiled sailing on the Mardi Gras. They have a regular plug-in hair dryer.
-
Thanks, guess i will bring mine.

Does Carnival Paradise have the hairdryer that is connected in the drawer, or do they have hairdryers that you plug in? Debating if I should bring my own. I can't stand the ones that are connected in the drawer.

I have also requested a fan onboard. The ones they have stand on the floor, not for countertop. I have also been told they are out of them, that is why I bring my own. Fits well in my beach bag.

I always bring a fan. It measures about 10 x 10 X 6. It plugs in and i carry it on in my beach bag. Never had a problem bringing it on board. Got it in Walmart for $15.

Sorry to hear you got covid. My husband and I got covid on our Christmas cruise on Celebrity and everyone was wearing masks, and they were sailing at 50 percent capacity. An Ultra cruise is where invited guests get a gift worth somewhere between $500 and $1500, and if you dont want the gift, you were able to take the value in Fun Play. Was the casino packed on your cruise?

Anyone been on an Ultra cruise recently? My last Ultra was August 2021. Just wondering if the gifts have changed and if you can still opt for Fun Play instead of gift. I will be on Mardi Gras April 2 and it's an Ultra. I am hoping it won't be as crowded as the last Premier and Special Premier I have been on. It will probably be more crowded, now that they are filling the ships.

Anyone cruise recently on the Mardi Gras able to get the frozen drink Kiss on the Lips or a Fuzzy Navel? They are both made with peach schnapps, and they did not have any on my last cruise. I hope they got some, as I will be cruising in three weeks and these are my faves.

This is my vote too!
If you like mango you will love it!
I tried the Twilight Zone and it was just okay, I much prefer the Kiss on the Lips. 🙂
I loved the Kiss on the Lips drink. On my last cruise (Nov 2021) they had no Peach Schnapps, so you could not get this drink. Were you able to get them on your January cruise? I am cruising in three weeks and look forward to having a few!

We just got off Reflection on Sunday. I heard one announcement on the second day stating there was one case. Never heard anything else. The last night my husband felt like he was getting a head cold. When we got home I scheduled him for a test on Monday and he is positive. He is feeling really bad, with a bad cough. I was tested Wednesday and I am positive too. I think there are a lot of people that dont report their symptoms and are spreading it around the ship, This was the cruise that left on 12/26. Everyone had to be tested by Christmas eve and get a negative result. Then they probably had their family gatherings Dec 25 and were able to cruise on Dec 26 not being symptomatic yet. We were both fully vaxed and masks were not required anywhere. I would bet there are a lot of people who ended up positive after this holiday cruise.

We got off the Reflection today. There were 1700 passengers on board. Thought the ship was in great condition. Went to all the shows, John Bressler great piano player/singer, Leigh Cara great singer/guitarist, Ryan Story great singer/guitarist, and December '63 did two shows, both fantastic (Four Seasons songs). Did not get to see the comedy show. I dont know if they have different entertainers each week. We had a great cruise. Dont know how many covid cases on board. I did hear the captain mention we had one positive case on the second or third day, but never heard anything else. My husband and I were fine, until the last night, he felt like he was getting a head cold. Today we had a four hour drive home. Tonight he has a fever, cough, congestion, body aches. Going tomorrow for a test. I hope its nothing more than a cold. We are both fully vaccinated. Love the Reflection.
We both tested positive for covid after cruising last week. Hubs feeling a lot worse than me. I only have a headache, runny nose and body aches. so far.

As long as we are talking about favorite treats at Cafe al Bacio, my vote goes to the chocolate-filled eclairs. Rather than custard, I love, love, love the eclair with chocolate. I don't see them often, but will make several trips a day when they are available...😋. Fingers crossed they make an appearance on Reflection next month.
Hopefully they have them on Reflection next week!

I mean, if you haven't been to Cafe al Bacio, have you even been aboard a Celebrity ship?
I have been on many Celebrity cruises. My husband and I do not drink coffee or tea, so we never went there. We are not really into desserts with dinner. We did check out the desserts at the buffet and nothing ever appealed to us. I used to like the soft serve when it was ice cream but the last few cruises we were on they had changed to ice milk, which I did not like. The pastries at Cafe Al Bacio sound wonderful. I will be there next week to try them.
-
Thanks everyone for the info. I will be cruising next week and I will definitely check it out. I was never fond of any of the deserts at the buffet. I loved the almond croissants they used to have at the afternoon tea, but they stopped serving them. I hope the ones they have at the Cafe are as good.

Is there a charge for the pastries and deserts at Cafe Al Bacio? I have cruised on Celebrity many times and have never been there.

Thanks. I do not play cards. But I have a friend traveling with me in March and they like blackjack. I will let them know.
