We are from Cork, and I am originally from Dublin, and counting down to our cruise in Celebrity Equinox in exactly 8 weeks and 3 days!! We are doing almost the exact same ports as you did, and really find your review and photos so interesting.

As we were in Rome for 8 days earlier this year, we are also interested in spending that port day in and around Civitivecchia.

We re thinking of hiring a car in Livorno to go to Lucca, but your review of Cinque Terres makes me want to go there!

Hi all,

We have a free classic alcohol package with 123GO, but would anyone know if I need to upgrade to Premium onboard to get Kir Royale, either with champagne or prosecco? Bubbles of some kind required!!

We used Romecabs in May on the advice of cruisecritic members. It was a fabulous service, from airport to city centre hotel and then back to airport for our Celebrity transfer to Civitavecchia. Our driver was waiting for us at the airport, and again at our hotel on the morning of departure, immaculately dressed and extremely professional. We will definitely use Stephano and his company on our next trip to Rome.

Problems/comments:

Noise from gym did not wake us, but we were aware of it any time in cabin during day. However very convenient for staircase to gym, and very convenient for relaxation room and persian gardens.
