  1. Hi-

Not sure how to post a new topic here. I am used to the older format and not this one.  I will put my post here and hope it gets read, and perhaps someone will help me with how to make a new post.

We have had several rough months since I posted here.  I have been unable to put in much time responding to tour plans.

Hoping that there is still space on some tours for us to join.  We are a couple from the lower Hudson Valley of New York. We have done a good deal of cruising, but this will be our first on Oceania. We are looking forward to this fabulous itinerary.

if someone has room on a tour they have planned for the two of us...please let me know.  Any space available on the tour to Addo Elephant Park?   My email is Enids@optonline dot net

    Thanks!

Didn't realize that.  I have seen people take fruit and snack items off the ship on other cruise lines. Does Nautica check your bags when you leave the ship. Of course, they do when you re-enter.

  3. I am one of those people with a horror story. My whole family (12) were all set, with our luggage at the door, to leave the following morning for a cruise celebrating my husband and my 50th anniversary. At about 11:00 o'clock that night I got a call that my sister (65) had a stroke in California. We are in NY. To make matters worse a heavy storm was on the way and no new flights were being scheduled. Luckily, we had tkts to Florida, where the cruise was leaving from. We took that trip to Florida on the last flight to leave NY from JFK and went from Florida to California. We were able to make it to the hospital where we saw my sister for the last time. Luckily, we had insurance. Everything was covered. That was a lot of money! I would never take a chance to travel without insurance. Sure, insurance is like betting against yourself, but one never knows......

  4. Hi, love hearing your report on a trip we are considering...very helpful. I see on the information about the ship that they say each room has sliding glass doors and a veranda. Is this not the case?

  5. Just took tour with Woody. My husband and I were joined by two wonderful gals from Montreal. Woody is as everyone above says..a very pleasant and bright guy and is willing to do something that is a little different and show you the real hidden parts of Dominica. We enjoyed the day so much. We had been on the cruise for several days, and had visited a few ports, but when we hit the beautiful hidden black sand beach that Woody took us to, my husband said.."well this is the first day of my vacation". A beautiful, lush island with so much to see..don't miss a day with Woody, if you can work it out.
