We're on the Legend in December.  It looks like it's pretty much the same ship as the Pride which we've been on a few times.  The Pride is the perfect size for me so I'm looking forward to the Legend.

We will be on that same cruise!  After being on the Magic and the Dream, I am looking forward to sailing on a smaller ship!

Great to hear. We will be staying there in Jan. Looks like dining and a wine pickup within walking distance? Did you use their shuttle to the port?  We will be with a group, most of whom have shuttle included in their pkg. We opted out because of cost assuming they would have a chartered bus/van and we could use the hotel trans. but that is not the case. Just wondering about the shuttle size and whether we might have a problem getting on early if they have that large a group.

Thinking of UBER but need a large one due to having 4 of us.

We used their shuttle the first time we stayed there and it was around 10.00 pp, it was not included in the hotel price, but if I remember correctly, it was a standard shuttle bus.  The hotel staff  suggested we take an Uber, since we are a large group and would be cheaper to take 2 Uber's instead of each paying for the shuttle.  But after doing some research, we decided to use myparkconnect.com and park near the port. The price is the same as parking at the hotel, but it will save money since we wont' have to request an Uber to get to port.  Hope this helps!

  3. We used my PVP and since everyone agreed on the dates and ship, I had each family call in and book their own rooms.  My PVP was then able to link our reservations together and I didn't have to pay the whole deposit.  This worked out well for us and our PVP was able to keep our rooms on the same deck and close together.

  4. We surprised our girls with a cruise over Christmas a couple years ago. We wrapped some extra packages for them to open Christmas morning with small gifts, like sun glasses, goggles and notes telling them where to look for the next gift.  All the notes had little hints as to what we were doing, but they didn't quite figure it out until they opened the  last present that had their boarding passes.  The looks on their faces was priceless!  It was so much fun!

    Any other comments?

  6. We did this when we sailed the Dream over Christmas. They though the elf would stay home, but some how they ended up in our suitcases when we unpacked! We asked our room steward (and gave him a tip) if he would help with the elfy shennigans! We would find our elf with our towel animal, hanging from the shower and may different places. Our younger kids thought it was great!

  7. We were just on the Magic and we had rooms 8392 and 8394. We loved the rooms and the location. They are connecting balcony rooms and the divider for the balcony opens up so our balconies were connected. These rooms were quite and close to the elevators and stairs so easy access to the Aft pool, bar and Lido! We would stay in these rooms again!

  8. We were on this curise and yes Sunday was very rocky, and the Lido pool looked like a wave pool, but by Sunday night it was pretty smooth. I hadn't heard that there were storms in our path to Amber Cove, I must of completely missed that one : ). It did seem pretty rocky again Friday night on our way back to Port Canveral, I just chalked it up to being in the Atlantic vs. the Caribean. Overall great cruise and I would sail on the Magic again!!

  9. Sorry, yes. I meant connecting. I couldnt see on the deck plans and nothing came up when I mock booked. We sail with 5 and usually get two separate rooms, I wasnt sure if the connecting rooms would save us any money.

    Ill check again.

We sail with 5 and connecting rooms as well. I can never really find connecting rooms on the website, so I call a PVP and have them look and do the reservations with them. They seem to be able to find them.
