  1. When we were on Vision in October/November 2018 our travel agent requested a medical fridge prior to the cruise, but we never received one. We ended up receiving a "cooler" type of fridge and our room steward filled the ice bucket up twice a day and put it in the "cooler" to keep our medications cold. We tipped our steward extra since this added to his workload. This was the first time we've had a problem receiving a medical fridge.

  2. We did a 12 night Mediterranean cruise on Vision in 2015. We had ocean view room #3058. It had plenty of closet and storage space, and was very quiet. We always try to book cabins that are above and below other cabins. You can try to change your cabin to a different location on the same deck if you are concerned about the potential for noise with your current cabin being under the dining room and conference center. As long as the cabin category is the same, you should be able to switch cabins without a change in cost.

Glad to hear this. We have # 3056 booked for an upcoming cruise :)

  3. We were on almost a year ago' date=' for 10 nights in January 2016. We loved the ship, food, and entertainment. Park Cafe was nice to grab a quick bite. At that time, there were not Freestyle Machines on board. However, we did find the bar staff to be friendly and helpful--something we haven't always experienced on other ships--with just having a soda package and no Freestyle machines. I almost didn't buy the soda package for Vision because of the lack of the self-serve machines. But, for Vision, it worked out.[/quote']

Thank you for your answer. We weren't sure about getting the soda package for my husband for our upcoming Vision cruise. When we were on Indy earlier this year, my hubby had issues getting soft drinks from the very busy (but friendly) bar staff.

I think we will give it a go on Vision.

  4. We were there on a Sunday this past April.

Some of the stores were closed and didn't open on a Sunday. Some were open but closed in the early afternoon (around 1:30 - 2:00). However, there were "market" type vendors near the pier that were open until we boarded the ship later in the afternoon.

Hope this helps to answer your questions :D
