Would love to see a pic of the necklace full of charms.  We had the necklace appear on our table back in March but I never got around to collecting the charms.  We board @AbbyCruiser45's ship a week from today...maybe I will reconsider the charm collection.

Edit:  @thebutlerdidit just added a pic!  Really cute, I might add.

I LOVE this.  What a nice thing for your son to do for his g/f.  Sounds like you're raising a good man!

Ok let me get a pic and I will upload

Dinner at Tuscan was excellent! I mentioned in one of my first or second posts that we had a terrible experience last year on the Equinox at Tuscan. The meal took forever and our entrees were served cold and kind of crusty, like the sauce had been sitting. We left before dessert. Today was the complete opposite of that! Our server, Joel, was fantastic. He was on top of everything, gave great recommendations, and the pace of the meal was perfect.

We split most of the meal with the pork belly, calamari, crab cake, and burrata (not pictured) to start. I had the filet with a half order of the short rib pasta. We split the lobster rigatoni and Kaleb had the veal Marsala (not pictured) and the carbonara (he should have gotten the half order).

For dessert, I had the limoncello cheesecake which was fantastic. Kaleb had the doughnuts with extra vanilla gelato. They also brought out the standard chocolate cake to celebrate our graduation. We blew out the candle together! It was such a nice, indulgent night. The perfect start to our cruise!

Also, when we got back to the room, there was a free (?) Effy necklace on the bed with our planner for the next day. Maybe this is a new promo? I’ve never gotten one before, or heard of this. Any thoughts?

This was a cool little Promo, my teenage son collected these for his G/F. was cute to see him in line collecting the little things to place inside and he also collected the one for my wife. Nothing spectacular but was a perfect souvenir for his G/F.  We were on board 6/10-6/18

Going on the Equinox this Saturday (if we don't get cancelled due to TS or hurricane).  Will there still be lobster included in Chic night?

Just got off Equinox on Sunday. Thye had lobster 1 night..I think it was day 7.

They charged if you wanted a second lobster tail. That was only up charge I saw the whole time. We ate in MDR every night..

My whole party did order the NY Strip and then added a lobster tail a no charge

  5. We will be visiting both of these ports in June on Celebrity Beyond

I am a bit confused as to how close each location- Marseille and Villefranche are from where the ship actually docks

I am trying to book some excursions on my own and just trying to gauge how/ how long to get the meeting points I am looking at

I am looking at a walking food tour in Marseille  that leaves from the Opera, from the map it looks close to the Old Port of Marseille

In Nice there is a snorkeling trip that l haven't got the exact location but would obviously be leaving from a dock !

    Thanks !

  6. Looking for info on the luggage service in Vancouver. We have a 11:25 pm flight and don’t want to carry the luggage. I see some info on line that they have a counter by the cruise terminal .

$40 for 4 pieces of luggage.

My questions are does it then go to Airport? Where do we pick up ? How much time should we allow ?

    Thanks

  7. I understand the whole transfer.

My point is if I am booking the flight through the cruise line then I should be good with the time. Weather I use there transfer or arrange my own to airport that is on me and I totally get that. In my experience the cruise line transfers are very expensive compared to what one could do outside the cruise line

    Thanks for all the information.

Now on to booking the flights !

  8. 12:50 PM would be fine for a flight.

I would still get off early as the process at Vancouver can be quite long including check in, dropping bags off in another area, getting through security and as a USA citizen going through USA immigration.

Thanks. If we book flight through Celebrity do they get you an early disembark because of flight time. I would think since we are booking through them they will assist in making the flight on time.

    Thanks again

  9. We have more time if needed. We want to do 1-2 post cruise also in Vancouver also. Was hoping not to do a rental car.

We might need 4 days pre cruise. The cruise line price is very high Rccl 8200. Celebrity 9300. That's for 3 people with a balcony and the 3 night pre cruise.

We might not be able to book a balcony at those prices but I wanted to look at putting together a similar 3 day pre cruise trip to the one the cruise line does but probably save some $$

  10. Does anyone have any experience in booking 2-3 days pre cruise out of Seward. We are looking at 2 different cruised out of Seward in June of 2017. Would like to do 2-3 days pre cruise with Denali for sure. The price thorough cruise line is very high.

Thanks for your response and I look forward to planning this trip!

  11. I used Orca a few years ago. Great experience. Office is across street from peir. Great time saw whales for 1.5 hours straight. There were less than 20 people on the boat. Can't remember how many people the boat held but I would say less than 70. We are looking at Alaska for 2017 and are going to use them again
