Thank you. I thought it would probably be her. We had her as the Captains Club hostess in May on the Eclipse transatlantic and in December on the Equinox. I am sure she will remember us. Did she happen to mention if there would be a lot of Elites on the transatlantic? On the Eastbound there were so many that they had two hostesses.

Not usually, If you are travelling with Cunard and have their Air, sometimes they will have a coach to take you to Macy's for a few hours shopping then on to the Airport.
Sometimes they will just take you to the Airport and sometimes they will provide a Day room for you at an Airport Hotel nearby for a few hours, other times they take you to a Mid Central Hotel to store your luggage, then give you a few hours to do your own thing before taking you to the Airport.
You do not know what you are getting until night before debark. You could always check with the Tours desk when onboard.
If you have booked your own Air then it is up to you to get to the Airport in time for the flight home.
We have booked our own flight. Not looking as much for the transportation to the airport. More interested in touring New York as we have not been there before. Our flight does not leave until 6:30 pm. We have cruised on many other cruise lines and have had this type of option available as a shore excursion.

This is our first time sailing on Cunard. We will be sailing on the Queen Mary 2 from Southampton to New York. Does Cunard provide tours on disembarkation that will pick up at the ship and do a tour and drop off at the airport? There is nothing listed on the Voyage Personalizer. I know that I could organize this on my own but we will have onboard credit to use up so thought this would be a good option if available.

We sailed on QV from Southampton to Fort Lauderdale in Jan 2017. We took a bottle of whisky and a bottle of Baileys as well as 2 bottles of wine and assorted non alcoholic drinks. No problem! ..
Did you take these in your carry on or your checked luggage?

We are onboard right now. On deck 8. We have not had any problems with the water temperature.

I apologize if this has been asked before. I searched and could not find the answer. Does anyone know which Pier number Celebrity docks at in Port Everglades and is it within walking distance to the Harbor Shops? We are doing a back to back in December and just wondering if there is anywhere to buy wine for our second leg within walking distance. Note that for us a 1 to 2 mile walk is completely doable. Thanks.

We will be staying at the Crowne Plaza for one night after a cruise in January. Looking at the map, it looks like it is not that far to walk to the Harbor Shops. Is the area safe to walk?

You don't have to pay to cash out at the casino if you buy the OBC. It will be refundable OBC. We just finished B2B2B and we bought OBC in CAN for each leg of the B2B2B. When we arrived at the pier we switched our account to a cash account. Then, at the end of each leg of the B2B2B, we went to Guest Relations and they gave us US cash for the balance of the credit remaining. Make sure to switch it to a cash account so that they give you cash at the end of the sailing, otherwise it goes to the credit card and defeats the purpose.

Have not been on Celebrity for a few years and have not been in a regular oceanview cabin in several years. On the Summit in a regular Oceanview room, does Celebrity still provide Shampoo, Conditioner and Lotion? I know that they do not have the Shower gel in the regular Oceanview room but can I request it from the room steward?

We are also doing our first Christmas cruise this year. I am hoping for some type of religious service on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Anyone with experience with this?
We have cruised Celebrity several times over Christmas and our experience has been that they always have a Catholic Priest onboard as well as some other religions (not sure which). There is always a Catholic Midnight mass as well as a non-denominational service and a Jewish service is also held.

Our guide for our tour in Ephesus in two weeks specified payment in US$.
This is what we were quoted as well but when we got to Ephesius we had to pay admission fees and all that they accepted was lira or credit card. We had neither as we had been quoted US prices. Luckily someone else from our group had a credit card and paid for all of us and we all reimbursed him.

Even though many say you can use Euro in Turkey, we found that was not the case. We went on a private tour where we were quoted prices for admissions in Euro and were surprised to arrive and find that they would not accept Euro, only Lira or credit card. We usually do not carry our credit cards ashore unless we need them. We were lucky that there was someone in our group with a credit card who bought tickets for several of us and we repaid them in US funds.

Which sailings will you be on? We will be doing B2B2B on Summit from Dec. 5 to 26. You should join the roll calls for your sailings.

I think you would know if you were using private browsing. I turn mine on every time I open Safari. If private browsing is turned on your computer does not save information about websites visited and personal information entered on websites. Also, maybe check and make sure that your computer accepts cookies. I think that maybe Celebrity's website likes to leave cookies on your computer (something that private browsing prevents). Maybe try resetting safari (I do this several times a day to delete any history, cookies, empty cache, etc. that may be on my computer) and then try registering again.

I have had issues in the past with the Celebrity website not working on Private Browsing. I was trying to register for a connections party and having the same issue. It wasn't working. I took my browser (Safari) off of private browsing and was finally able to register for the connections party.

We will be doing a B2B2B and I was wondering how much wine we are allowed on embarkation? I know on other cruise lines as long as you have all of your boarding passes you are allowed 2/cabin per sailing. That would be 6 bottles of wine. Does Celebrity do the same thing?
Note that I am not trying to do something against the rules, merely wondering if I am able to bring all 6 of my allowed bottles of wine (2/sailing) onboard at embarkation.

Buenos Aires Transportation

We are doing two cruises with one night in between in Buenos Aires. I have read a lot of reports of people being scammed by the taxi drivers at the port. Just wondering what other people have done for transportation from the Cruise Port in Buenos Aires to Hotel in Puerto Madero. Looking to possibly book a car service to pick up. Any recommendations? We will be taking an Uber to the port the next day but it appears that Uber does not pick up at the Cruise Port.
