We’re booked on the Coral Princess to Alaska for September 2021. I know the weather can be unpredictable but I was just wondering if the Coral has a covered pool.

NCL is offering 5 free offers if you book a balcony. Does anyone know what the age limit is for the kids sail free? We’d like to use this offer to take our grandson with us. Thanks.

Hi everyone. I was the OP for advice on cruising after gastric sleeve surgery. Just to update, I was on track for the end of this month (1/19). In Sept 18 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My bariatric surgeon put me on hold until this is taken care of. Fortunately, it was caught very early and after surgery and radiation, I’m on my way to recovery. I’m not counting the surgery out, but we’ll have to see. Our May cruise is still on and I’m trying to lose on my own. So far I’m down 26 lbs and working on more.

We were on the Legend several years ago with a group and all of us who booked interiors were upgraded from an interior to a balcony for free! What a surprise!

I’m scheduled to have gastric sleeve done the end of January and my cruise is mid May. Any suggestions how to handle this. Will I still be able to eat what I like, just A LOT less.

Thanks for the great review! My husband and I also sailed 1/29 and thoroughly enjoyed it. We hadn't sailed Princess in quite a while and thought that the ship was beautiful. We found that although the room and balcony were small, they are pretty organized. We loved the itinerary as we had never been to any of these islands with the exception of St. Thomas.
We did have one little glitch to our trip as my husband had to spend several hours in the medical center. He had an allergic reaction to something he should not have eaten (nuts). Nurse Pat and Dr. Belton were wonderful, and took great care of him. The facility is state of the art and the staff is wonderful.
Overall, we had a wonderful trip and will definitely sail Princess again!

Does anyone know if you use cash for the laundry or do they have a way for you to put it on your cabin card?

We did a tramway tour through the rainforest in Costa Rica several years ago. It was worth every penny.

We did the land and sea tour many years ago. It was beautiful. The second half was a catamaran that stopped right at the base of the Pitons. It was beautiful. On the bus part we stopped at Diamond Falls. It was raining, but the sun came out for a minute and it was gorgeous! I highly recommend it!

We're going on the Breakaway 1/17/16. Last time we parked our car in a parking garage about 3 or 4 blocks from the pier. I can't remember the name of the garage. Does anyone know the name of garages in that area?

We're looking to do the same cruise next December. Hope to get as much information from these boards as we can before we make our final decision. I posted on the regular board so I'll be keeping an eye on both boards.

Just starting to research the 11 day cruise tour on the POA for next December. Has anyone done this? Is the hotel nice? Is this better than doing the 15 day cruises on the other cruise lines? Thank you in advance.
