Hello, does anyone have pictures of the balcony of cabin 6160? My agent told me this is one of the best obstructed view cabins. We love having a balcony; especially to get fresh air in the cabin and it's only a little bit more than ocean view window on the Thanksgiving sailing 2016. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
Just off the Anthem and we were in 6160. Your TA was not kidding....great view with hardly any obstruction. Would not hesitate to book this again. You will love Anthem...beautiful ship. We loved it !!!
I do have a photo but I can't insert - keeps saying upload failure. Sorry.

The charge can be higher though if you buy a drink package after you board but before you sail. We usually buy drink packages once we board so we can use our OBC. We make sure we go to a table that is set up on the Royal promenade or outside the WJ that has to write up the slips by hand. Those charges aren't entered until later, so you get no tax. If it is done at a bar register, you will get taxed.
Thanks for the tip. We had planned to use our OBC (which we have a good amount of) to pay for some of our drink package- which is why we planned on waiting until we were onboard. However, if they charge 8% on top of package for 2, a 12 night premium package is now 111.00 more. 😳. That's not pennies. Is there a way to make sure you aren't paying tax outside of windjammer? Since you have done this before Have they normally told you what the total is before you purchase? If not I will just wait until we are in international waters to buy.

Thank you and definitely following this as we will be sailing onboard in November. I have heard all drinks are $10-12 USD, and would be interested to know if this is correct, especially if it is just a standard Gin & Tonic, or Rum & Coke what the price would be.

Thanks for the great review! I am sailing on Anthem in November (sister ship) and am curious regarding your room layout. We have a virtual balcony on the 11th floor booked and L catagory- was the virtual balcony at the end of the room opposite the door, or was there another layout altogether. I am having a hard time finding out information regarding these cabins (even from RCI reps). Thanks in advance for any information you can provide!:)
Any RCCL loyal cruise on NCL?

Was just on the Ncl Breakaway and did a review vs Royal. Here is the link. I have always been loyal to Royal - but would definitely sail Ncl again after our trip.
