January Oasis cruise, Central Park balcony, the temps were fine. I like it cold at night!

No receipts nor negative attitudes on the Oasis in January.

I don't think there is much difference, if any between a C1 and a C2. We had originally booked a C1 then there was a huge price drop on C2 so we switched rooms. We ended up right next door to the original cabin. Same view. Same size.

On every ship we've been on, guest services will punch a hole in your sea pass card.

We are taking our sons on the Allure on July 13. One graduates HS in June, the other graduated 2 years ago - He got an Alaskan Cruise.

In January we were invited to the helipad (we are Platinum). We also received an invitation (as did the other 20 people) for the aqua theatre on the wrong day. The invitation said Saturday at 10 but no one was there. We never bothered to go on the correct day.

We did the $150 all acces tour on Oasis in January. Not worth it. They skipped 3 areas that were supposed to be on the tour. No apology. The guide arrive 30 minutes late. No apology.

We had a connecting cabin on oasis, ours was on the left and the bed was next to the closet, not the balcony.

On the Grandeur last October, they had buy one get one free (actually they charged 50%) on any drink in every bar from 3pm-5pm every day - great deal!

We never had a problem storing suitcases under the bed on Oasis, however on the Grandeur the bed wasn't high enough so we asked the room attendant to store them - no problem at all.

My husband really wanted to do this on the Oasis and since we saved $400 due to a price drop, I figured, "why not?" . We went to guest services first thing and were told the tour was cancelled for out sailing due to technical difficulties. A few days later, I received an e- mail informing us of the all access tour (sent to all) I called and they singed us right up???

We enjoyed the tour, but felt we didn't get what we were promised. We didn't see the laundry because it was in use. We didn't see behind the scenes of any shows and we didn't get to see the helipad. All of which were listed on the tour. We complained to guest services and I wrote about it on our comment card, but never heard back from them.

If you are at the pool, you don't all have to go and get your own drinks, they have waiters for that. You just have to give him everyone's card.

On the Oasis in January we never signed a slip and in the MDR we only had to give the drink waiter our card the first night. :)

We stayed at the Bahia Mar Doubletree hotel in January. It is right on the beach (short walk over bridge). About a block or so from restaurants and shops. We will be staying again in July. Beach and pool area are both great,

I booked our entertainment for Allure, we sail in July.

 

And, same thing, Chicago was the only thing we could not book. Wonder what is up with that?

Just off Grandeur 10/25 - 11/1. No Escargot. They had the scallops every night which at least 3 people at my table of 5 ordered. I actually like the scallops better. They also had the same thing with salmon/crab one night. I didn't like that nearly as much as the scallops. I thought all of the food was great!

October 25, 2013 to Bermuda on the Grandeur. January 11, 2014 on Oasis and July 13, 2014 on Allure. I am beyond excited!

Does anyone know if they give out drink cups when you purchase a soda plan on Oasis? Two years ago on Freedom, they gave us cooler cups with lids when we purchased the drink plans. I don't want to bring one along if they give them to you.

23 Days until Oasis.:) 22 days until FLL - celebrating my 50th (birthday). I am soooo excited about the cruise that I am not even thinking about my birthday.
