My husband and I are also foodies and were on the Escape in Feb. We did a specialty restaurant every night and repeated Cagney twice. We didn't do the supper club or dinner show but would recommend all of the specialty restaurants except Moderno. Therefore, buy the UDP for as many nights as makes sense - it was totally worth it!

Just a few thoughts: I have the same sentiments but would also think that you need to figure out what means most to you. Do you like the additional activities, restaurants or just the larger ship? Ships like the Freedom of the Seas has a lot of the same options regarding entertainment and larger feel. Also, I would recommend trying the larger ships like Norwegian Escape and Carnival Vista to compare other companies larger ships.

I'm sailing on the HOTS on the September 18th sailing out of Barcelona and trying to confirm which nights we will be eating in the mail dining room vs. specialty restaurant.

Does anyone have the final menus? I have seen one new menu which makes me believe they are different than the standard 7 night rotation.

Absolutely! Chef's table is still my favorite memory from our cruise on the Liberty! Worth the cost and is such a special experience!

I would echo the others regarding hotels located on 17th street. We just came back from the Hyatt Pier 66 and I would not recommend it both due to location (close to pier but nothing in walking distance) and the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel.

What cabana number would you guys recommend? I am looking to get some sun while my husband is looking for shade inside.

I know it depends on time of day, etc but curious as if anyone loved their specific cabana and could share what number it was.

I am looking to pre-book the Chef's Dining Package online but it is not displaying. All of the individual restaurants are able to be booked but not the packages.

Do these packages only show up a certain amount of days in advance? (I am still 170 days out)
