If you purchase a wine package are you only allowed to drink the bottles in the dining room or can they bring it to your cabin ?

Ask the Purser - there is another location to board for Suite passengers
-
I purchased OBC, Princess put it all under my name instead of splitting it 50/50 with my spouse - called to get it corrected & they said I would have to wait & speak to the Purser to get it corrected.
When I went to purchase excursions on the website it made me pay with a credit card. Called Princess to ask why they did not pay for the excursions with my pre paid OBC & they stated the pre paid OBC does not go into effect until you are on board.
I purchased enough OBC to cover all my approximate on board expenses. Now I am worried I won't be refunded my unused OBC if I don't use it all.
Does anymore if the will refund the unused OBC or do I lose it
Thanks

111 days until our 10 day "Welcome to Retirement" Mexican cruise out San Francisco

Love, Love, Love the aft on any cruise especially in Alaska - Have fun
-
My favorite part of ship - it seems more open, the balconies are usually little larger and we feel we never miss what's going on on either side of the ship because you will get the chance to see both while the ship is cruising
Have fun - you will get hooked on cruising
-
Our favorite cabin - the balcony is so big you won't notice the beam

One of the most expensive tours but differently worth while once in a life time experience - we highly recommend the tour - the day we went the weather was beautiful, clear skys & sunny - on our dog sled ride both of us sat only the driver stood. Have fun!!!

Regarding the Ulimate Ship Tour go straight to the Purser desk & ask to to signup for the UST (there is binder that lists the people who want to go on the tour) - when we did it they were not organized & told us to come back later - we insisted they create a paper in the binder showing we were the first ones to sign up (since they usually only select 12 people) which they did & we were selected - It is one of the best tours we have ever taken - it's well worth the money especially since all the gifts they give you are worth the price of the tour -Enjoy!!!

I am sailing in the Club Class in August to Alaska & it ran us an additional $300.00 each
-
It is a great tour but expensive but well worth the cost - if you add up all the feebies you get the tour is paid for. It is a great way to see the inter workings of the ship & what they do ensure you have a great cruise - I think it is a must do choice tour vs some of the ones offered in port. This tour is usually done on a sea day

We ordered several bottles of wine & when I received our voucher I called to have all 5 bottles delivered & they would deliver 2 bottles at a time - I guess that thought we'd never leave our cabin LOL
-
Are you allowed to bring on Bloody Mary mix? We have a bottle of Vodka ordered that will be delivered to our cabin
-
Where do you buy a cheap egg crate mattress - I leave 1/9/15 on the Crown to Mexico for 10 das - thanks

The room stewards do a great job but there is no way they have enough time to clean each cabin the way I would hope they would. I wipe down all the door & draw handles, the remote control, the phone and all other things that are touched on a consistent basis from cruise to cruise. I not only ask for a top sheet I also ask for a flat sheet to lay on top of the bed during the day so I can lay on the bed & read without thinking of how many other people have laided on those covers. My husband calls me "Howard Hughes"

I have sailed on both Princess & Holland many times & prefer Princess. The full suites Aft on Holland often have wrap around balconies & they have a special lounge for suite passengers where they will make all your restaurant & tour reservations. My husband & I like to retreat to our cabin for peace & quite during the day or an early evening Princess offers 2 T.V's Holland only 1.
To us they are different - thye each have their good & bad features - it's all personal preference - Happy Cruising no matter what cruise line you pick
-
Help me understand why Princess offers lower prices for new bookings only after final payment - when I have sailed on them more than 15 times and booked my cruise back in July 2014. I would think they would take better care of their loyal cruisers.

On a November 2013 Caribbean cruise we did not book for the week so we had to stand in line every morning - I would arrive around 6:45am and I was always 5th or 6th in line. If there was still availability when they reach me - my husband and I would not be able to be next to each other.
The thing I don't like about how they sign you up is they allow a single person book for a group of people at one time. I believe you should only be able to book for the total number of people in your cabin.
On the first day of that cruise a lady just ahead of us booked 16 lounges for a wedding party.

I have my current cabin E731 on the Crown Princess in January, 2015 marked as no upgrade but at the time of booking my TA told me it was possible they may move you because your cabin sleeps 4
Question: can you put in a request for a certain cabin directly through the Yield Management department or does it have to go through your TA?
-
jbobst did you send this review to Princess as well - the only way to try and get things fixed for the future is to let them know - I am on the Crown in January - I hope things are better, thanks for the review.

89 days & counting down to relaxation

Has anyone ever stay in cabin E730 on the Crown with the extended balcony? I am looking for reviews - I have heard that you hear the music below in the Fusion Lounges - Any insight?
