Please can someone clear up an argument (discussion) for me. We are going on a cruise with friends in May. We have prepaid our gratuities but they insist they will go to reception and have them removed so that they can decide who to tip. I think I have read that this can't be done, that they are added to your on board account and you have to request a form to fill in and request a refund when your cruise is over. Who is correct?

Thankyou - really nhelped me to make up my mind. Rabat and Cadiz it is.

PLEASE help - we stop at these ports on our west med cruise with Spirit.

Have heard bad comments about Casablanca and will do an organised tour but not sure if to do the mosque or Rabat?

Also wondering if to wander around Cadiz or go on a trip to Seville. Can anyone help/advise. Thankyou so much.

there is still no facility to prebook a cabin online

 

manage my booking is still not working

 

no cruise only

 

on the plus side: the deck plans are a lot better than before and even has a useful button which greys out the L shape bed configuration from the double bed configuration cabins on spirit & celeb

 

and I like the option to select all the uk airports

I know it's me - but I can't seem to find a deck,plan if I do a dummy booking?

Hope you have had a wonderful cruise. PLEASE let us know your thoughts on cabin 660 as we have booked this on Spirit for next year and I think it will be the same.

We have an AI package for our next cruise on Spirit - please do we have to pay for water in the Compass Rose Restaurant?

Does anyone know a magic way of knowing what cabins are still available on a certain deck without phoning the Thomson 0845 cabin choice number. Mo would suite like to know how a cruise is going in terms of bookings. Thankyou

Can't thank everyone enough for your very kind, helpful replies. Feel that I can look forward to it all again.

We have booked for the Spirit of Iberia for next September because it has some ports that we have not visited and also on the Thomson Spirit which we have not been on. Now. Friend has said that Casablanca , Gibraltar and Portimao (Portugal) 3 out of the six ports we are visiting they would not go back to and do not recommend. Please can anyone put my mind at rest before I jump ship!!

Thank you everyone for replying to what I thought might be one of my silly questions! It's just that last time we were oN the Dream we met some lovely people who asked us to meet up with them on the last night - well we' waited and waited for them at the agreed time - only to realise after half an hour that we were at a different entrance!

There are two entrance to the MDR on the Dream - one at the front and one sort of back/middle. Is there a better one for service and seating? Thank you

I seem to have opened a can of worms here! It now begs another question what is the best way of carrying things securely when in big cities . I have heard of something called PAC Safe - has anyone any experience of these?

We are doing the Highlights of the Med cruise in June. I'm sure I've seen somewhere that we need to take our passports when we visit some of the ports?

I don't like to carry my passport unless I really need too. We do take a copy around with us. Does anyone know if we need to take them at cittivechia (for Rome), Livorno st Raphael and Barcelona. Thank you
