I have a problem with anyone who gets so many details wrong. "No plugs on one side of the bed" wrong! Your own video proves you are wrong! "No bedside tables" wrong! Your phone is sitting on one and what's that big white 4 ft white thing next to your bed? "Took you 20 minutes to find the light switch" Duh...that is because the lights are automatic. You don't need a switch. "4000 guests on board" that's a long way from 2770. If you are going to review anything get your facts straight first.

Well she is laughing all the way to the bank as her FB page and You Tube Channel went crazy.  She only had like 12k subscriber's this video that most hate and then others like Jim Zimmerman tried to profit off of has gone viral and making her moola like she never made before.  As an influencer I believe you need to be aware of your mind set, as I found the review negative and focused on stuff that doesn't matter.  Have I been in a hotel room or cabin that it took me 3 days to find the light switch for a certain light - yes.  Guess what not a deal breaker and I could careless about it in a review.  I want to see the venues, shows and food and drink!

  2. Doesn't seem like you can do anything with it yet.  I was able to sign in and get my account easily.  My daughter 2nd sailor in the room is having issues, as the reservation number is not the reservation id, they are asking her for.  Anyone know what this is?

One question - I understood that rock star suites such as your Cheeky Corner Suite included a cabana at Bimini - curious as to why you would need to rent one? (we are sailing in a Sweet Aft Suite)

Maybe the Mega Rockstar, to my knowledge below that it doesn't come with it, I've pretty much read everything I've received and on the website.  Do you remember where you saw that?  As the write-up for the VIP Cabana says only Rockstar suites are eligible to rent, unless they are not all rented out then a non-suite guest can rent.  I'll definitely be calling back if it is included, let me know if you remember where you saw that.  Thx.

The hard rock is in Hollywood which is south of fort Lauderdale. If they'll pick you up in ft Lauderdale I'm sure they'll do Hollywood

Yes I know where it is, but curious if the pu will include off airport locations.  Hard to believe every suite include (private) transfer, only have had private transfer include with the Garden Villa on NCL.

  5. Emma's review was toxic, I think there weren't any bars open and that crappy weather made everything seem miserable.  Ben & David seem to almost be the spokesperson, ambassador for Virgin.  They were very upbeat but gave a lot of info.  Not seeing the actual venues in motion you don't get the true feel.

As someone with 24 NCL, many haven and suites and 8 MSC Yacht Club, I am not the target audience but taking my daughter who is and we are looking forward to the Cheeky Suite, the restaurants, the night club and entertainment, and Bimini Beach Club.  Rented a VIP Cabana which also comes with $100 beverage credit.  We are going 4/5/20

I wonder what that means? A daily replenish of several types of liquor and mini fridge like MSC Yacht Club? Or more like NCL Owners Suite which has a one time stock of several bottles of liquor as specified by the guest?

    anyone know?

I was told they will replenish once, once they stock something if you use it you pay for it.  Seems difficult to track, I'm in a Cheeky Suite.  So one round is the entire mini-bar once!

The first Upgrade into Haven that we won was from a Mini Suite to a Courtyard and we still got the free Champagne and goodies that come if you had booked Haven from the start. Who knows if we will get the extra booze and water this time?  With this win, we are saving just over $3K between the two of us and I am excited for the Front facing Balcony especially, so won't be devastated if we don't get the extras.

You get everything that comes with a Haven booking and Owners Suite booking, the only thing you wouldn't get is if you had less than the 5 free at sea, you keep your current free at sea perks and don't automatically get the 5 that come with an upfront booking.  You will get the booze in your room.  Call the concierge number prior to sailing and arrange what you want for the cabin. 1-855-625-4283

No, some are actually located behind several rows of sunbeds (used by those not in the cabanas).   There are also a few other YC cabanas located further from the beaches but in quieter areas with fantastic views.  The current set-up is interesting in that the YC beach area is on the eastern shoreline which is open to the sea.  Several other sun/swim areas on the island are on the lagoon which provides a more sheltered area for swimming.  Or course those in the YC area can walk a few hundred yards to one of those other swimming areas.

Another issue that caught our attention are the shark nets.  MSC has seen fit to protect most of the island's swim areas (including the entire interior lagoon) with large shark nets.  However, the swimming area directly off the YC beach has no nets!  Perhaps they are trying to tell the YC folks something :).  DW and I are avid snorkelers (and sometimes SCUBA divers) and  have never been concerned about sharks in the Bahamas....but do understand that many folks have a real phobia about sharks.  One of the beach staff folks told me that the lifeguard (the YC does have a lifeguard stand) would be watching for and give any necessary warnings if he saw sharks.   We did not notice any sharks in our swimming area (although somebody else posted some shark pictures) although a few large stingrays did catch our eye as they tried to see if they could fly :).  Speaking of shark nets, I did walk over to the marked "snorkel area" which is on the far side of Ocean Cay from the YC area.  That particular area (along a beach on the southern side of the island) was netted with a very long shark net located over 50 yards off shore.  The lifeguard told me that snorkelers and swimmers were not permitted to go beyond the netting.  We both had a good laugh when I mentioned that there were no nets at the YC area.  Perhaps this will be a future improvement.

Before anyone asks, DW and I did not do any snorkeling on Ocean Cay...even though we had our own equipment.  One reason was we were just too lazy and another was that we did not notice any reefs in the snorkel/swim areas.  The YC lifeguard suggested we explore some of the rocky areas adjacent to YC swim area, but a strong wind was blowing towards those rocks making snorkeling somewhat of a challenge.  We decided to save our snorkel habit for the next visit.

Ocean View is different than Ocean Front - OV is by the rock barriers not where swimming happens and OF are the ones you refer to on the YC beach where the loungers are in front of them.  I agree the cabanas are underwhelming if you are familiar with NCL Harvest Caye you will know what I am talking about.  Basically a mini villa with indoor plumbing, shower, bathroom, air, tv, music, fridge, etc.  I have one booked for next week and have already been to Ocean Cay, really considering backing out of my group as even $225 isn't worth is, it is a open bungalow in the sand with a fan.

  9. I can't believe they have not done the bidding match for Star 5/24 - Yesterday I tried to see what suites were still open and the cruise was completely blocked out couldn't even do a mock booking.  This morning it is up again and now the 2 suites I've been hoping to be matched too are available again!  Well I guess the waiting should be over by tomorrow:)

We sail on the Joy out of Miami next February on Super Bowl Sunday.   Did not realize that until after we booked.  Please tell me there will be someplace on the ship that we can watch the game.

I'm sure they will be playing it, I am on that sailing also.  This years I was on MSC and they had it playing on the Divina in the casino, on your room TV and all over the ship.  Should not be an issue.

I am sailing on the Star to Greek isles on 6/23 (so just over a month out).  I am booked oceanview but have bid on balcony and mini suite.  I have been monitoring available cabins in those categories for weeks and never noticed more than 1 or 2 change each week...on Friday still 47 balconies left.  However this morning, down to 30.  Huge swing compared to activity I’ve been seeing.  Do you think it’s true sales...or assignment for guarantees...any chance it’s bids being accepted this far out (mine still show pending)??  Do they usually assign guarantees or bid first?

I'm in a mini-suite on this cruise and I tried to see booking availability this morning - you can no longer book online.  I have bids on several suite categories.  There were only about 3 suites available on Friday, so I'm not too hopeful of an accepted bid.  I believe they are matching and accepting bids today, as we are 4 days out.  I have had bids in the past accepted on Tuesday for a Saturday sailing so I think today is the day for our Friday sailing!  Good luck, if I move up maybe you will get my mini-suite!

  12. They do not sell passes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are 2 ways to get in and you must use your key card or bracelet . They are also very good at remembering who is the YC that week.

Love your review going for my 2nd YC Seaside on the 29th. When I was on in March, they did indeed sell passes, not many, it was not crowded but I did meet a solo woman who bought a pass for 3 days. How, where, etc no idea.

  13. Your Own = "Not done by porters". The intent was pretty obvious.

We sail NCL several times a year. We have NEVER got a letter like this from NCL, so it is NOT the "same with every NCL cruise". We sailed on NCL a couple of weeks ago and NEVER got a letter like this from NCL, so it is NOT the "same with every NCL cruise". We have sailed to Alaska the past 3 years from Seattle on the Jewel and have NEVER got a letter like this from NCL, so it is NOT the "same with every NCL cruise".

I got my tags in mail yesterday for June. I have gotten tags in mail but believe only for suites and Haven

  14. I totally agree! We used to go to Vegas ten or more times a year. Now I'm going to Vegas four or five times and cruising with CAS 4 times a year. We do spend less on a cruise than we do in Vegas. We still have no problem getting great suites in Las Vegas or New Orleans and continue to enjoy all the perks of SevenStar status with Caesars properties.

It was interesting this year that the annual SevenStar NCL cruise perk allowed a Balcony on any* 7 day cruise except the Bliss to Alaska. Just shows you how popular this first year to Alaska is. (*No comped cruises on Pride of America as it has no casino.)

With CAS, I have reached Ruby tier which comes with lots of nice onboard perks like $400 OBC, more Wifi minutes than I can use and Ultra premium drinks in the casino. Last year I was Sapphire which included $200 OBC for each cruise.

We are no longer using Caesars to book our cruises as we get better cabins directly with CAS. However, we now use the annual SevenStar trip with free airfare to go to New Orleans where we enjoy a couple of days before going on another NCL cruise:cool:

Same here I never use the 7* cruise because I get better CAS offers Another tip for OP your drink card in Casino gets you water Perrier and Red Bull while drink package does not.
