I have just heard from my TA who is estimating around £6,000 pp for a deluxe balcony. She now has more enquiries than balcony cabins.
-
These two cruises do look very good value, and according to my TA interest is high. She told me that after the first hour or so of being on sale prices will start to rise depending on the initial demand.
I'm really interested to see what the prices of the balcony cabins will be.

An update from Cunard president, Simon Palethorpe:
Sailings on Queen Victoria are now cancelled for departures up to and including 27 August 2021.
Queen Elizabeth’s summer Mediterranean fly cruise season and all departures up to and including 11 October 2021 are cancelled.
Queen Mary 2’s current programme of departures up to and including 12 November 2021 are cancelled.
The new UK staycation voyages on board Queen Elizabeth will be on sale later in March.

Hi. I understand from our TA that Cadiz, Piraeus and overnight in Haifa are on the outbound segment and that the overnight stay in Dubai 31st Jan is also outbound with Singapore overnight on the return segment 21st March. There are also 2 stops at Colombo on the way out and return as well as Aqaba on the way out and return.

I agree 8 sea days to/ from New York is unusual and I see that’s around 50 sea days for the full 71 night cruise on the QM2 2022.

I have just been sent this for QM2. 2022

I have also just had an email from Cunard announcing the launch of "My Cunard" and a link to log in. This time I have successfully been directed to the new site and all booking details look ok. Looks quite different.

Thank you for the replies that's really helpful. We could get upgraded but would be happy with one of these cabins if not.

Would like to hear from anyone who have stayed in any of these inside staterooms, 10071 to 10077. Just 4 cabins of IA grade on Deck 10 inside a small corridor. We are booked into one of these on a guarantee from Sydney to Cape Town but have noticed white space either side. Guessing this may be a stewards preparation area, so was a bit concerned about noise Thanks. Bruce

We have just booked 5192 (a Q6) for the last leg of the World Cruise next year after much research and have requested No Upgrade. We are a little apprehensive as we were upgraded last year from Balcony (7071) to Princess Grill, and whilst very welcome on that occasion, we had requested No Upgrade. I would be very disappointed if we were moved particularly to a Q3 or Q4.

Hello. We are also booked onto this cruise although did realise it was just sailing by before we booked, it is however disappointing. The Cunard website clearly states these are Ports of call so that is a bit misleading. It means we have 8 sea days in a row!

We have just received confirmation of a change to our itinerary in July next year on the QV. We are on a 21 night cruise from Rome to Istanbul and are now visiting Marmaris, Heraklion and Athens instead of Odessa, Yalta and Sochi. Better safe than sorry!

We booked a Britannia BA balcony cabin number 6095 on deck 6. This had a larger corner balcony and we had specifically requested "No Upgrade" through our Travel agent. We subsequently received an upgrade to a P1 cabin 8081.
We were been notified of the upgrade only 3 days before departure via our Voyage Personaliser. Our TA new nothing about it. We certainly couldn't complain on this occasion but were amazed that we received an upgrade after specifically requesting No Upgrade.

We booked our 4th July cruise on Queen Elizabeth back in February and selected a midships Britannia Balcony Stateroom Deck 6. It was a quiet cabin with a corner balcony so requested "No Upgrade". However today when looking at our Voyage Personaliser our stateroom number had changed to a P1 Princess Grill. Very happy and can't complain considering the benefits., but was amazed considering we requested no Upgrade.

I have just seen this on the Cunard site under their Frequently Asked Questions.
Yes, we are pleased to announce that Queen Elizabeth will offer single staterooms after recently undertaking a dry-dock period.
They will be available to book from Wednesday 4 June 2014 for cruises departing from 16 December 2014, voyage Q422.
The new stateroms are located midships on deck 2 and offer a central location close to many of the most popular public rooms on Queen Elizabeth - including the Royal Court Theatre and Queens Room. There is a choice of Ocean View and an Inside room with the Ocean View rooms offering especially large windows. All offer spacious accommodation for the single traveller and come with oversize single beds.

Taking alcohol onboard - Cunard
in Cunard Line
Posted
We were on a 7-night cruise on QE in September and took on two bottles of wine and two bottles of spirits plus mixers. We have never had an issue, and have cruised with Cunard for years. Likewise, if you buy alcohol in port, you can just walk on with it. We normally just pack it in our hand luggage. Generally we have always found the drinks packages hard to justify and just pay as you go.
