Yippee. Just noticed that Royal Carribean will have sailings from Montréal in fall of 2020 on the Empress of the Seas. Some trips are round trip Montréal to Montréal. They can do that because of a stop in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon (French islands near Newfoundland).

Thank you for posting such a helpful review. I was thinking of renting bicycles if I did the Canada/New England route again. Your post will be very handy.

Somebody recently posted, on the Holland America board, a very informative review for those who wish to rent bicycles while on their cruise. Here is the link:

I was showing a friend around Montréal last month and he wanted to try Reuben's Delicatessen. I had never been there. Glad we tried. Both of us enjoyed the food and service.
Our smoked meat sandwiches with pickle were very nice. Generous portion of moist meat. You can ask for lean or medium (with a bit of fat). We went back for cheese cake which was good also. Here is the Trip Advisor link with other reviews and the address of the place (downtown):

Updating my own post about Reuben's Delicatessen at 888 Sainte-Catherine W. (2 locations with a similar name). Since I had seen so-so reviews this year, I went to check it out again before bringing an out-of-town friend there. Well, the service was nice but my smoked meat sandwich came lukewarm and the fries were too dry. So, for those who want to try a smoked meat restaurant downtown, I suggest Dunn's Famous on Metcalfe Street. The service could be better but the smoked meat was good and hot and I thought the home-made fries were better. On the other hand, I didn't try the deserts there. Here are the Trip Advisor reviews for that restaurant:

Or even better replying with a simple "bonjour" (pronounced "bonjoor") no mater how badly pronounced will be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know what is on each of these? Specifically what is on the Montreal pass and not the Museum pass and vice versa.
DW is an art teacher so museum visiting will be big in the days we stay in Montreal after our cruise.
The Montréal Attraction Pass has a few museums included with other attractions. More info. can be found in this link:

To choose, it all depends how much time you have and how many museums you want to see. One I can highly recommend is the Pointe-à-Callière Museum.

The airport (YUL) now has a new reconfigured border services area with 133 touch screens. Airport tips can be found in the following link:

Westjet also has agreements for connections with American Airlines and United. Also, they now offer direct flights to Québec City from Calgary, Alberta (YYC).
