  1. We are Canadians doing a B2B from Vancouver to Alaska and back leaving June 10th.

It is my understanding that we will need a  rapid antigen test one day before the cruise. We are flying into Vancouver late on the 8th so will need to get a test on 5he 9th. We are staying at the Burrard downtown. Any suggestions as to where we can get this test that would be in walking distance of the hotel.

  2. Not quite sure why people think this is a scam. If you decide you are going to spend 50 bucks at the casino then this will give you an extra 5 to play with. As it goes for the slots, they will load 50 plus 5 credits on your casino card. Yes you have to play these credits and cannot cash them. If you go to a machine and spend 5 dollars of these credits and happen to win anything, you can hit cash out and collect a ticket for the cash you won and then move to another machine with the remaining credits. My wife and I do this and then on the last night of the cruise we cash in all our tickets and take the money and run. Sometimes up, sometimes down for the cruise.

Its called gambling, you have to decide how much you want to lose and take advantage of these offers for a few extra spins.

  3. Am doing a cruise out of Rome in Oct 2020. Am looking for ideas on getting from Airport to Cruise port or hotel close to Cruise port depending what day we go. Any ideas on shuttles etc.

  4. Will be finishing our TA in Dublin and flying out the next day. We would like to spend the day on the hop on hop off buses and are wondering the difference between the red and green ones or which one is better. We ar planning on leaving our luggage at a storage place close to a hoho stop, do the busses for the day then cab to our hotel close to the airport. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  5. Going on transatlantic on the Reflection on April 22 out of Ft Lauderdale. One of our stops will be overnight in Cork. How far is the dock from town and does anyone have any experience with the hop on hop off bus there. Also any suggestions on what to do there.

  6. Thanks , that is really helpful and I really appreciate the pictures and time it took you. Not overly tech savvy so this is much appreciated. By any chance do you know if you can buy a HDMI cable that would hook a Samsung tab A to the tv so I do not have to bring the laptop.

  7. Am going on a trans Atlantic on the Reflection in April and have 7 days at sea. I have lots of movies that I can put on USB stick or on a Samsung tab. Anyone got any ideas how I can hook up to our stateroom tv to play these. Can I plug a stick or hook up tab to tv or can I do  a Chromecast type thing. Any ideas.

  8. Am going on a transatlantic in April and was wondering how many free drinks you get with elite status. I have heard 3 per night between 6 and 8 at Michael's club I believe. I could be wrong.

Also I know you can bring two bottles of wine onboard.can anyone confirm if that is per person and what size.

  9. We are going on a cruise out of Dublin in May and possibly staying at the Clayton Hotel at the Dublin Airport. Can any one tell me what our options and costs would be for getting from the airport to the cruise port and then from the cruise port to the hotel after the cruise. I have been given the impression that cabs could be costly. Have also heard that there are some inexpensive buses that would work for us. Any ideas.

  10. Am going on the Eclipse on Nov 26th and was wondering if anyone who has been on since the recent beverage package changes can tell me what beers are now included in the Classic Package. Also if you have the classic package do you also get all the drinks and beers in the Standard package like the website says or is that only if you buy the Classic package as opposed to getting it as part of the promotions.

  11. I should explain more, I am from Canada and have a US charge card and US bank account. I want to get away from carrying large amounts of US cash but do not want to incur a whole lot of charges either as our dollar sucks right now. I was hoping I could draw money on my onboard account and then pay the balance with my US charge card at the end of the cruise. Guess this is not possible.

  12. I always looked forward to my Aspen Coffee at El Bacio, but now that Baileys is no longer in the Classic package does any one know what it would cost for an Aspen Coffee or a Baileys and coffee at El Bacio

  13. Although I do not agree with doing it I have had to do it on a sea day in order to get a chair for my wife and I. I will say that unlike some other people we do occupy the chair while we are there. We don't go off to the cabin for a couple hour snooze or go to the casino or bingo and leave our stuff on the chairs for hours on end. When we leave we take our stuff and make them available for others to use. We have been on 9 cruises and what we noticed is just as big problem is the fact that there are a lot of very lazy people that go on these cruises. By mid to late afternoon many people leave their chairs for the day but are to dam lazy to take there towels and put them in the containers for used towels. They just leave them on the chairs and like it is with the chair hogs, people think these chairs are occupied. Come on people show some respect and do not expect the pool guys to pick up your used towels.

  14. Am planning a cruise out of Miami in Nov of 2017. It is much cheaper for us to fly from Montreal to Fort Lauderdale the day before and take a shuttle from the Fort Lauderdale hotel to the Miami Cruise Port. My question is when coming home if we take a shuttle service from the Miami port to the Fort Lauderdale Airport would we make a 12:05 pm flight. Are ship arrives in Miami at 7am.

Would you be able to tell me if a lot of the attractions are within walking distance of the port. Our ship docks at 6pm on feb 26th and leaves at 10 pm on the 28th. We would like to do a few things like the WW 2 Museum, a swamp tour, haunted walk etc. Can you tell me which ones would we be able to do without having to cab a lot. Seeing that we get in at 6pm on the 26 and that the 28th is Mardi Gras and most things are closed are only real sight seeing day would be the 27th. Any guidance you can give us would be appreciated. We are Canadian so it would be better for us to book our tickets here and pay in Canadian so we kind of need to know what we can do using our feet and the ship as a base.

  16. Will be in New Orleans for a Mardi Gras cruise from Feb 26 6pm till Feb 28 10pm. Amthinking of buying a 3 day powerpass from Costco Canada for 179.00 per person. Would anyone know if this would be worth it. Are the attractions it gets you into within walking distance of the port. The swamp tour includes transportation. Some of the things it includes are War Museum,Swamp Tour, Madi gras Museum plus many extras.

  17. Going on New Orleans Mardi Gras Cruis on the Equinox in Feb. Would it be worth it to buy the New Orleans Power Pass that gets you into many attractions. Does antbody know if alot of these attractions are within walking distance of the ship. We do not mind walking. Also what is the weather like that time of year.

  18. Sorry, not quite awake yet, I should have narrowed it down. We are looking for things to do in New Orleans. We will be there for two nights 3 days during Mardi Gras. We are an active couple, walking not a problem, history, beaches, Casinos, seeing the sights, shopping etc.
