Thank all of you for the suggestions. I wasn't planning to visit Bloody Mary's anyway (unless Jimmy Buffet was going to be there).

We are on the upcoming Oct 7 PG 11 day cruise to Society and Cook Islands. I have most of the cruise days planned out but I can't decide on the best excursion options for our 2 days on Bora Bora. I would appreciate suggestions from any of the experienced cruisers who have been sharing their knowledge on this Board.

Sorry
It appears they have dropped The Falklands on that sailing date but the other cruises have The Falklands included
Still talking about different options to cruise to Antarctica
But, the Quest went to South Georgia instead; by far, a better choice than the Falklands. South Georgia was the highlight of the Dec. 20 cruise for everyone I spoke to. It beat out the Antarctic itself, because of its sheer beauty and abundance of wildlife. Be sure any cruise intinerary you choose includes a few days at South Georgia.

Since you wrote that you now have the dressing & Zodiac procedure down to a very slick operation, we (& others I'm sure) would really appreciate if you can post it here. Certainly NOT boring people - you write well, informative. Mrs SKP is fortunate to have you come along even tho' she didn't share her hand warmers with you! Tsk! Tsk!
Last week here in Alberta (Canada) temp was -24C (that's w/out the wind chill!) so we're looking forward to balmy temps in Antarctica plus even warmer pre & post cruise stays in Chile & Argentina. Hence our quest for what to pack for Seabourn's cruise.

We will be spending a few days in Santiago and Buenos Aires (pre cruise and post cruise). We haven't used Travellers Cheques for many years, but are considering them for an upcoming cruise holiday instead of carrying a lot of US$. Being Canadian we need to transact in US$ while travelling. I have a US$ bank account which I can't access while abroad, so I have to bring US funds with me. I can always use my bank card at an ATM and extract the local currency, subject to the bank's usurous conversion rates. Any advice on this?

Will be spending two nights at the Sheraton on the Argentina side in January 2015, after departing our Antarctic cruise. It is very difficult to get a straight answer, if we should be vaccinated for Yellow Fever or not. Being over 60, we are at added risk for complications from the vaccine. Have any others struggled with this problem?

We're flying out of LAX with AF on Tuesday. All the references I've seen indicate that AF is now located in Terminal B. I'm not familiar with the layout of LAX.
