Sailing the Pride out of Baltimore. Just want to go lay on a beach in the 2 Bahama ports, not pay for an excursion. What do you recommend

never sailed Carnival before, only NCL where you use your room key for ALL purcahses, no cash needed. So how do you pay for things on Carnival?? Our bill at the end of a 7 day NC is around 900.00 thats gratuity, dinning, wine package, drinks, gift shop, excursions, ect...

Do they have an outdoor aft deck buffet area. We love breakfast outside!

How many pools are there?

Are there night time shows in the bars, on NCL they have audiance particapation games at night like the newly wed game and other really funny stuff lead by the cruise director.

We have been on 4 NCL cruises, love them. but we would like to depart out of Baltimore instead of NY. Would like to hear from people who have done both these lines.

Will we hate Carnival?? Worried about the clientel a bit. we are not big shot drinking, loud, partiers. More martini and fine dining.

Both go in dec 2013, both super low price. Also the Breakaway is in the mix?? HELP

We have only crused NCL. Love it. Love all the dinning options. i know carnival has traditional dining, with a few other options. Those of you who have cruised on both, what do you think. We are not yell and scream partiers, will Carnival be too rowdie?? We would love to cruise out of baltimore this Dec.

Does the pride have outdoor breakfast on the aft deck with a buffet, do they have smoked salmon, that's our fav. on NCL.

It's a lot of sea days, hows the pool area, is there a quite pool area??

Well the Gem is a 10 day multi island cruise, but we would do an inside cabin ($419.00), 12/4/13 the prices are SO LOW right now!! or Breakaway balcony ($500.00), 7 day just to FL and bahama. We have been on Sprite, jewel, a few others? thought Breakaway would be very different then those. early dec. I would think would be slowish?? We eat late arond 9 so really never have to wait or even reserve tables on the ships we've been on. Not sure what to do

we love sailing out of NY, in winter, in the hot tub!! VACATION!

have not been on NCL in a few years, we use to do the wine pre buy where you picked out 8 bottels for the week at a discount. Do they still do that??

Trying to decide between the Gem or the Breakaway. 4000 people on Breakaway and hearing about slow service. Is it too many people. Hows getting on and off at ports?? Hearing not enough staff?? But I'd like to try it the boat looks fantastic.
