  1. Hi All.

We were booked to sail on Sapphire Princess on 12th May 2020 from Fremantle for a 10 day voyage to the north of Western Australia and return.

We were notified that the cruise was cancelled on 16th of April and we choose to get a refund by filling out the request on the 17th.

An email was received from our travel company that the money would be in our account 23rd of June and the funds were available on the 24th.

    Regards,

  2. We recently completed a 36 day back-to-back cruise on the Oosterdam in the Mediterranean and was disappointed in the change to the shops.

The concession was changed and the new operators have changed the style of clothing and accessories to a younger demographic.

Also, there is a decrease in the range of items in the shops and there were no 'cheap' bargains (i.e. $10 and $20 'specials').

Has anyone noticed the same change on other HAL ships ?

    Regards,

  3. My partner and I have been on both HAL and Celebrity and both lines are great. We were on the Celebrity Infinity (just after a dry dock with a major change) and found the ship lovely to cruise on. If you love the wrap around deck of HAL I would recommend the N. Amsterdam however we found the décor and interesting dining options on board the Infinity more to our tastes. The N. Amsterdam has the very nice Crow's Nest and Explorations Lounge which we both really love.

  4. Hi All.

There appears to be a gap of 14 days for the Dawn Princess around the 11th of May 2015 to the 24th of May 2015 in Singapore.

Does anyone know what they might be doing during this period ?

A possible dry dock ? If so what are they doing, just regular maintenance or refurbishment and additions.

    Regards,

    Harry W.
