We have had the "dreaded vent and dreaded beam" in our suites on the Emerald and the Ruby and truthfully it really did not matter and did not impact our cruise at all. We spend a lot of time in our cabin and that is why we book suites, but it has not really mattered to us. We have absolutely loved our cabins and I think you all will too! Make it your vacation.
