We booked via Choice Air from Sydney Australia to Toronto. Etihad business class. Way way cheaper than what I could book independently.

Hopefully somebody here can answer a question for me. :) With this special Canadian residents rate RCI are offering right now, can we still get our balcony discount on top of that? I've never booked when there's been a residents sale so I wasn't sure how things work.
I was able to secure the resident rate with the balcony discount.

It worked for me. I knocked $360 off my Alaska 2017 rate. I'm happy!

The waiting is finally over. Alaska priced and we were able to get it tonight and with the 30% sale still going. Thanks to CC for the heads up. My TA was getting up early to book it but now he doesn't have to and we got a better rate.
It's all good.:)
Just an FYI. I placed a hold on a 2017 Alaska booking last night because I wasn't sure if the 30% would still be in place today. As it turns out, it's actually cheaper for me to book today because the 30% is still in place and I now get my Diamond balcony discount (C&A discount wasn't an option yesterday). Yay!

Great review Sean. Take all the time you need. The reward is in the detail and quality of writing. Thanks!

Early days still, but I thought I'd take a break from Christmas and get a roll call started! Couple from Toronto (41 and 50) spending a few days in Sydney before this amazing 24 night cruise. Anyone else on board?

Just returned from a 16 day cruise on Voyager. Unlimited, after Diamond discount, was $270 for two devices. I can't remember the price for one device only.

Just returned from the March 16 sailing of the Voyager. I can confirm that port side of the ship faced the opera house while docked at the terminal. However, on leaving Sydney harbour, it was the starboard side that had the view as we cruised past the opera house.

Hi guys! Add two to the roll call. James and Marcio from Toronto.

On the Voyager right now. In a D2 cabin, my spouse and I (both Diamond) received two bottles of water, one diet coke, and four bags of tiny shortbread cookies.

Hi Ben,
We're a couple in our 40s. Just started researching what to do in the various ports. As well, we arrive in Sydney a few days prior to departure to adjust to the time zone and to do some sightseeing. How goes your planning? Have you been following the posts about the refurbishment? Can't wait to try the flow rider!

Hey fellow traveller,
My partner and I are flying in from Toronto for this cruise. It'd be great to know someone else onboard! I just this week finished figuring out our flights and hotel. Now for the cruise planning!

Ovation in Australia this past December. Shorts, sweatpants, T-shirts, flip flops. Formal or otherwise. Our waiter told us they can’t decline service.
