Thank you, that's great to know. I have a cruise in August and was thinking about the Steak House. My daughter is also vegetarian. Sounds like a dream meal for her. With her college graduation I did want to have a special dinner for her. Your post has helped with my decision. Steak House it is.

2 oz Hennessy Black Cognac

.75 oz Patron Citronage (couldn't find so I used Cointreau)

.75 lime juice (fresh)

.5 - 1 oz simple syrup (depending on how sweet you want it)

It's  cousin the Side Car is also good

substitute the cognac for spiced rum

I'm scheduled to go on a cruise with my mom and dad on April 25.  I may have to cancel, due to my job quarantining me for 14 days after the cruise (no pay). I booked the Steakhouse for the three of us, but I still want to pay for them. How do I contact the Steakhouse on the Breeze to change from 2 to 3 people (it is a prepaid booking).

I hope this made sense. I'm seriously bummed with the thought of not going. 😭

From what I've seen and read they will meet at sea. Each ship will have its own Lido party. Looks like a lot of fun and something different. My parents already booked and I'll be booking soon.

I'm doing the Steakhouse first time on the Breeze. Going on cruise with mom and dad, treating them to a meal they would never pay for themselves. Can't wait.

I'm getting it a lot today. Also getting a pop-up box saying the page is unresponsive. It comes and goes.

I was on the NCL Escape coming into NYC on 7/28. I saw your ship and have pictures when we passed each other. Two ships that passed in the night (or early morning).

The veggie burger at Guys is not listed on the menu, you have to request it. They will make it fresh. My DD was sooo happy with the veggie burger from there. She said it was delicious.

Lots of options for vegetarians. DD didn't go hungry and she is not a big fan of cheese. I can't remember what else she ate, but she found enough to make her happy. Don't worry your daughter will find plenty of options.

I just got back from our cruise on the Escape. We went to Margaritaville for drinks. On the back of the drink menu was three appetizers that could be ordered separately from the meal (nachos, pretzels and chips and dip). Did it twice. Just make sure they know that's what you're doing. They'll send a server to take the order. Nachos were $9 and the other two things were $5. I'm assuming it's the same on the Getaway.

You're very welcome. You can always upgrade. They just don't let you downgrade after final payment.

I wasn't on the phone for very long at all. Just make sure you let them know you don't want a guarantee (unless you're OK with that).

I just did it.

Last week I upgraded my son's room from an inside to a balcony for $264. I did get all the current promos with the upgrade plus a $100 OBC. I was able to cancel the 4-day dining plan I had purchased, so the upgrade actually cost me $38 (not including the OBC). So, I guess it was actually free. BTW we were six weeks from sailing when I upgraded. Just call and ask them how much to upgrade and let them find you something. That's the way I did it.

If you get the upgrade, just make sure you cancel the bid.

Is OBC  from  NCL credit card points refundable or non-refundable? Just want to make sure I get the most from my points.

Yes! I had that almost every morning. They were awesome. The whipped topping is the best I've ever had. I don't usually have the same thing every morning, but they were that good. 

I did forget to try the crepes. I will definitely try them in July.

I was just on the Horizon on deck 9 right under the buffet. I didn't hear anything. This is the second cruise where we were in a room right under the buffet. No noise on the Dream either. Loved being so close to the Lido.

I just got off the Horizon. They had the fruit infused water at the Serenity Bar and the Ocean Plaza bar. We used both.

Thanks. I love my Bellinis, would like to get one with breakfast even if it's on the Lido deck.

Is there anywhere, besides the main dining room, that you can get a mimosa or bellini in the morning? Maybe near the Lido deck.

It certainly does. I've gotten $301 in OBC for my July Horizon sailing. 4 days to Bermuda. Unfortunately, I paid the cruise off early, can't get the reduction, just OBC, but that's OK I'll take it.

Try Beyondships dot com. But look at the menus from the Breakaway. The Getaway isn't updated, still shows lobster on the Cagneys menu.

If you are talking about the 3-day dining perk. . .you can choose from Cagney's, LeBistro, La Cucina, Moderno and Teppanyaki with no additional charges. There are a few others that would have an up-charge.

Absolutely. Just no bottles of water/soda.

We did that in July. My DH dropped the kids and me off at the port and returned the car.

We went through security with all the bags and then just waited inside the terminal for him to return. There are some chairs there. When he came back we checked in. Just make sure he has his boarding pass with him.

It was very easy.

Grasshopper was my favorite. Mr. Worldwide was also amazing.

I know you haven't booked yet, but if you do it that way, it may be easier to have more information now. I had a really hard time getting them checked in until I asked on these boards and got the correct information.
