Carnival Miracle Panama Canal Journeys, March 5-19, 2020. Cruise got off to a bumpy start,  2 sea days and one port dropped from the 17 day cruise. Embarkation day went smoothly, as did the first 12 days did. Then the captain addressed us and told us what was going on. He said all ships were being recalled but we will finish our cruise with the final stop in Cabo. Well, the next day we were told no Cabo, we will be heading directly to San Francisco. Next message we can’t go to SF with no port for us at this time. Finally, we got a port, San Pedro and another day  chopped off the cruise.  Took us two flight cancellations and 13 hours to get home. Even with all the problems, we had a wonderful cruise with so many nice crew members

We are doing a Hawaii to Vancouver next April 2018 on Carnival Legend , which I believe does the same route this April. Much more cost effective than Celebrity. Very port intensive at beginning with five day at sea at the end. The ship goes to dry dock then Alaska I believe

We are Canadian ,from Western Canada looking forward to arriving in Vancouver with a short flight home. Thus avoiding the Jet Lag from red eye from Honolulu.

We usually do late dining - on out last carnival Conquest FEB 4 . We saw a real change in cruisers preferences - hardly anyone in late dining . Real advantage - excellent service and food was received rapidly just finished one course next course was there .

We love the downtown of Miami -you can take public transit train from Airport to our hotel of choice - Hampton Inn BRICKELL . The hotel arranges port transfers at reasonable cost .

Breakfast comes with your stay .

Just finished a cruise on Carnival Conquest to Southern Caribbean - loved Curaçao . No real complaints - we did have American table and lobster on a formal night . Plus Guy's burgers CONQUEST is due foe dry dock in fall

Can someone tell me , Mambo beach do you need a day pass or how do you get to this beach. By taxi at the port ? How late would you be able to stay as ship in port until 11pm

I am a Canadian , don't leave my country without it

So if you ever decide to cruise to Alaska I suggest getting them

We have learned being in at the very front -forward cabins and very back -aft cabins results in the quietest cabins - no much foot traffic . Now that is what we book

, more walking to get to the cabin but very quiet at night .

Can anyone tell me or show me a photo of this cabin . We just booked it.

WE had Cabin 2470 on the Liberty three years ago and loved it . It was much larger than a regular OV, Now we have been spoiled as last year ,we had a aft balcony on Liberty. The price for this OV was good and we are Canadian thus our dollars is terrible so this cabin seem to be a good deal.

Anyone Know what is happening on the Liberty ?

Very slow board , I have sign into one roll call , apparently was supposed to be 3 day to nowhere cruise originally

No one starting a meet & greet that I can read

Personally , i'm happy with serenity area for adults . Have been on two other lines Princess And Celebrity where there was a charge to use that outside area . Although , Celebrity did have a lovely adult area -inside with a pool which was no charge.

If children bother you try a transatlantic cruise only 7 children on the whole ship !

Well we paid for our March cruise early luckily and we kept some US currency from last year - always we will not be going

We are going in March arriving on a Wednesday staying at Harbor House - hotel told me about shuttle service

To clarify the glass we poured was from our bottle of wine we bought on board . That included on Celebrity to the MDR and we able to drink with our meal .

Go on Celebrity - you can take your glass of wine anywhere . We had an inside cabin with Celebrity , interesting differences , we still prefer Carnival. But that was one thing I liked

So we are totally happy with Hampton inn in Brickell

Transfer via the new train system from airport to hotel - 2.50

Less 1/2 block walk to hotel

Hotel offer transfer to the port from 8.00 ( April 2015)

Hotel is in a area totally walk to restaurants bar & shopping

We did a tour with a ENGLIGH long time resident named Rose as recommended on the message boards - historic tour

I would recommend the Marriott too It is in a lovely area

Well hello to this small group

To the Canadian flying though Calgary ,we are thinking of going a little early like the 15 or 16 .

To my Houston response , how or rather what is the best way to get to Galveston from IAH in Houston.

Appreciate any answers.
