We are on the Edge in August and were looking at the On Your Own Tour.  It states that you meet at the Melina Mercouri statue near the Acropolis.  How do we get there?  And why pay for a transfer to get us to the Acropolis if we have to get there on our own?  I don't understand, anyone else done this?

We are on the Edge leaving on Aug. 19th and returning on Aug. 30th.  We have already booked train tickets for the return to Rome and then on to Florence for a few days.  Looking at the port in Civitavecchia, it looks like a very long walk to the train station hauling our luggage.  Our train leaves at 9:16 for Rome.  Two questions:  Can we get a cab from where the ship docks to the terminal?  If we try to be first off the ship, will we make this train?  Another question, Do we have to go through security?  Thanks for any assistance, I can't seem to find this information.

We have been home 2 1/2 weeks and i'm so ready to go back. Juneau was a favorite stop because of the whales. We booked a whale trip from Harv and Marv. We were on a small boat, 6 cruisers and 1 tour guide. we got out early and he heard there were whales bubble net feeding, which is rare and you don't often see. We went to where the seagulls were flying and the whales were there. It was great! Even our tour guide was excited! We watched for quite a while and then had to move on, but saw more whales. If you can book a trip with them, do. Have a wonderful time. It is so beautiful up there.

We are cruising to Alaska in July. Is there a web site that will tell me what ships are in the ports I will be in on a particular day. Just curious as to the amount of people in a port.

Is there a web site to see if two balcony rooms have a sliding panel on balconies to connect them? We are on Celebrity Millennium. Celebrity's site does not show this.
