Yes fly into small destinations is not cheap, but when you figure the total price for the cruise and the air it is overall competitive, and there are ports here that are rarely included in most itinerary which is a big draw for us.

We are looking at this cruise.  What airport are you flying into and how are you getting to the cruise terminal?  It seems that the airports are really far from the cruise terminal.

There are several ports that we don't care to visit again but Belize is not on the list. We have cave tubed, snorkeled two gorgeous places and loafed on a quite, peaceful island. I could go back and definately find something neat to do.

 

The tourest village and Belize City are pretty sad though. If you don't want to take a tour stay on the ship.
