Can you provide any info on how the price match guarantee worked? Did you have to first book through carnival then show them the pricing from some other website? I see reference to the rates under packages on Reef's website. Any guidance is appreciated.
Thanks!
Make sure you book the "all inclusive beach break" with Carnival. It's 79. There is another beach break that takes you to Technotel. We used the price match gurantee on Carnival website and only paid 45. IMO, it's worth the 79 just for the drinks and transportation. Also wanted to mention that our bus was the only people at the entire resort. It was not crowded.
They also have towels for you and free wifi.

PS this year (for March 2015) we opted for a 3 star on Hotwire and knowingly ( did lots of research) got the Radisson Ambassador for $113 per night plus service charges. It has terrible reviews but our flight arrives at midnight and we will board the Summit by 11 AM so decided to go as cheap as possible.
We're staying at the Radisson Ambassador Plaza Hotel for a night before our cruise this February. When I went to review our reservation on Hotwire I noticed they dropped the rating to 2.5 stars (it was 3 when I booked). I called and they ended up giving me $25 "hot cash" which can be used towards my next hotwire booking (1 year expiration). You may want to call. It took about 3-4 minutes.

Did you ever figure out how to do the price matching? I'm looking at booking as well but would rather book through carnival.
