  1. Hi scubaboy,

Cant really remember what time we got off the ship but know it was earlyishThere was no queue as such for the minibuses as there were plenty of them.We were approached by numerous drivers/ guides all vying for our business as we exited the port gates. They were all charging the same price so it made no odds.If I remember correctly it wasn,t too far a walk to minibuses.

If your aunt has mobility issues she doesn,t even need to get out the minibus on the tour if she doesn,t want to

hi thank you for all your help!, is there a roll call on here for this cruise? as i cant seem to find it!

  2. On the same cruise but having done the tour previously not doing it this time

As others say, plenty mini buses waiting as you get off the ship. Can recommend them, our driver/ guide was excellent.Short tour of the island then up the rock. After, your dropped off in middle of the town centre

Hi Jim thanks for your response,I'm wondering what is the best time to leave the ship and queue for the minibuses. I am travelling with my aunt who is a little bit infirm and am wondering whether there is a lot of walking involved.

Also do you have any other recommendations on our other ports of call which would be worth visiting.

  3. The old thread is hard to read, so I am starting a new thread...and Theologator's last post is a wonderful start because he/she summarized the major "secrets" in the older thread.

I assume that Theologator would not object to my reposting his entire post here to get the NEW thread started:

For those that would like to read the detail on the above, the old thread is located at: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1602168

  4. hi everybody

really need help on this. I was recently on the allure of the seas in a ocean view balcony. The view was straight down with no jogging or walking tracks, other balconies and lifeboats.the allure was straight down to the ocean. I have heard on the celebrity constellation there can be obstructions like i mentioned. I read where cabin 7179 concierge class is a great bungalow. Can anyone please tell me if you have stayed in this cabin and if the view is straight down to the ocean or obscured. For me it would be a deal breaker as that was the best part of the cruise. Many thanks to all.

hello ! I really do hope you found the information that people went to the expence of bothering to find for you very helpful!!!!! A simple thank you goes along way!!!

  5. Not had chance to call them yet - will let you know though! Have a feeling we will lose deposit and have to make whole new booking though, just my gut instinct knowing Celebrity! They dont like to lose out in my experience!:)
