We were at Freeport Sunday (3rd time). From the pier We took a shuttle to the Port Lucaya beach $10 round trip. Follow signs to the beach. Once there we were told its $15. for entrance, chair facilities, & pool. Since it looked like rain we opted to walk a few blocks to the free entrance. The day turned out to be beautiful. The beach was great, had we known 15$ is a great deal. Hope this helps.

We were there Saturday. I didn't see any trampoline, and only two jet skis. The beach was rocky, need water shoes. IMO, not worth the money. Maybe when they finish the construction it'll be nicer. Other cruisers that opted for Cabbage beach were very satisfied.

Does anyone know the distance from the port to the new exploration tower? Do I need a taxi or is there a bus? PC is our first port of call and plan to go to Coco Beach, afterwards would like to check out the Exploration tower.
Thanks

This might help to decide what to do there.

Thank you for posting. Does anyone know if the Twin Brother restaurant is within walking distance to the port?

We well be stopping in Southampton on our Sept. MSC Opera. We like to DIY or a private tour in our port of call. Can anyone suggest a private tour in Southampton? Thank you, Arelis

Roothy123, thank you so much. Your information is great, I have also been looking at Rick Stevens Portugal & Lisbon books. It is our first time in Portugal, we are so excited. Our cruise is on Sept. 22.
Thank you,

Hi, I'm so confused. Trying to look for a hotel that is near the heart of Lisbon or near the metro stop for 2 nights pre and 1 night post cruise. We aren't fussy, just looking for a clean, safe hotel. I have looked at the different threads, (not many current posts). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Arelis

Thanks for the great review. We are going in Sept. 22 first time with MSC, can't wait. We usually don't do ship tours. How diy were you the ports. We enjoy some history, food at a local place and little shopping? Thank you, I would be lost without the input of CC members.

We were at Freeport two weeks ago (3rd time). From the pier We took a shuttle to the Port Lucaya beach $10pp round trip. In Freeport you need transportation to the beach. The shuttle is a good deal and after the beach you can browse the shops at Port Lacunya, sorry about the spelling. The port is set up with little shops and food. Not sure if it will be of interest to children.
