I am not sure I understand your question....if you get money from your card at the tables there is a fee. If you use your card to add money at a slot machine there is no charge.

Not anymore. Just off the Getaway and they charged 3% at the tabbles as well as the machines.

Currently on MS Rotterdam and we also have the new When and Where.

Piano Bar area has been boarded up with coming soon graphics and new Billboard venue  (dueling pianos) should be up and running next cruise. In meantime Jamm our piano entertainer is playing in Crows Nest.

Former Sommelier Ferdinand just came on-board and is now the Beverage Manager. He recognized us from our Prisendam cruise.

All is good on Rotterdam. Cádiz today and Casablanca tomorrow.😃🚢

    Love Jamm

  3. We frequently disembark in Victoria as it is usually the last port before Seattle or Vancouver. We live in Victoria and our request before our embarkation has yet to be denied. The only issue we had was when our ship could not dock in Victoria so we had to sail to Seattle and had to make alternate arrangements to get home,

  4. We were on the Westerdam Vancouver/Hawaii return October 2 - 18 followed by the Vancouver/San Diego October 18 - 22 and the San Diego/Mexican Riviera return October 22 - 29.

Lifeboat drill on first and second cruise but excused from the third one.

  5. So glad that you enjoyed it, and took the time to comment :-) There are some great reviews that have more ship detail, like the one Sheebah did recently, and Mitsugirly did one a couple of years ago, which covers a lot of the ship venues.

Are you in the Haven for this upcoming cruise?

Sadly no but maybe we will have a visit from the upgrade fairy for first time NCL cruisers :)

  6. Zims post brought your review forward from 2014. Otherwise, I would never have found it. It is the first that I have read about this ship. The decor sure is different. Cant quite make up my mind or not. Thanks for a wonderful review and the fabulous photos.

Thanks for pointing out that this review was from 2014. I was on the Zuiderdam this past Christmas and although many of the ports were the same the order was different. Also on Christmas Day we were in Falmouth, Grand Caymen.

  7. We used this service for the first time on January 4th and it was great.

We were flying FFL to Seattle then connecting thru to Victoria. When I originally booked our flights the Seattle/Victoria flight was already overbooked so I knew there was a good chance that we might not make that flight. When we received our boarding passes we only received the FFL/Seattle pass. We checked at the airline service desk and confirmed we had seat assignment for the last leg and received our additional boarding passes. When we were boarding that flight there were at least 10 people on stand by. Yikes.

Without luggage direct we would not have gotten on that flight.

  8. We had the spa package on our Christmas/New Years cruise. It was $249 for the two of us the first week and $199 for the second week. It was limited to 40 passes.

Unfortunately the hydro pool jets were not working the second week and we ended up getting a partial refund for the days we could not use it.

    Loved the ceramic loungers :)

  9. We just got off the Zuiderdam. There was $5 Black Jack, Fun 21, Three Card Poker, Let it Ride, roulette, and Caribbean Stud. $10 black jack. Also Craps bit we didn't play so not sure of the limit. Electronic Poker for $1/$2 games.

One Black Jack table was $25 by request but when he wasn't playing it was $10.
