  1. When I spoke with CAS this morning, they said the computers didn't seem to realize what they were doing when transferring our reservations. My reservation lost all the amenities, it's asking me for total payment last Janury, is charging me $1,300 less, which would be a great deal and they are crediting me $20 more than what I paid to pre-pay the gratuities. I've got all my documention and will call them on Monday and sure everything will work out.
I'm also booked through CAS. I'll give my guy a call Monday. Thanks!

  2. Thats not how it works though. They dont get to go into town earlier if they dontvmake towel animals. Most dont get to go ashore at all. Everyone needs to lighten up and stop acting like crotcherty old people. If someone gave you a gift that you didnt particularly like surely you would smile and pretend to like it. Well do the same here. The cabin stewards seem genuinly happy if they are praised for their towel animals. It also probably also gives them a few minuits to stop racing around cleaning toilets etc to do something pleasant. And maybe NCL stewards do have more time on their hands. Maybe NCL treat their staff better than other cruiselines. We love NCL and wouldnt cruise with anyone else. Just go withe the flow and enjoy your holiday and stop doing the Scrooge ba humbig. This post isnt just aimed at you but all the other whingers in previous posts complaining about getting towel animals

I asked my room steward and butler at each port stop if they were getting off and only one stop they said they may be able to. I brought back a little gift from the town for each of them and our concierge. [emoji1]

  3. I downloaded a NCL beverage menu that showed a chocolate martini as $8.95. Are you saying it is now$18.95? Meaning the $15 credit from the UBP and an additional $3.95?

Does anyone have a current beverage menu?

    Thanks.

Exactly. I did not take a photo of the menu.

  4. We are just home from our cruise and we booked with Courtney Taylor tours. We met Courtney and our driver Marvyn right off the pier. Marvyn is was very personable and knowledgable about the island. He took us everywhere we wanted to go. Toward the end of the day he told us the time we needed to head back toward the port, so we didn't need to worry about that at all. We felt very safe and we were so happy we used them. My dad said it was the best money he'd ever spent. Two thumbs up!!!

  5. Great pics! Looks like you actually got to get out and walk along the overlooks for pictures - sure wish we could have. We took the Trunk Bay snorkeling tour through the ship, which included a ferry to Cruz Bay and then road transportation to Trunk Bay. I don't know what you'd call the vehicle - they had a top, but were open on the sides. Our driver stopped at the lookouts, but we were not able to get out. I'm just glad he stopped so we were able to get the pictures we do have. Did you go on your own and take a cab once you were on St. John? We may consider that next time. Thanks for posting.

What a bummer. We took what sounds to be the same tour. Our "truck thing" was so full that my son and I had to sit in the cab part with the driver, which we ended up enjoying very much. It was like having our own personal tour guide. When we came upon that spot the pictures were taken all the the trucks were stopping to let people get their photos. I'm so sorry you missed out on it. :(
