She was our first cruise.  I loved the Norway and had a fantastic time on her.  Too bad she went the way she did.

I am not sure, but it could be the area around atrium opening on deck 9 (above O"Sheehans).  There are some couches and tables and chairs.  It is mostly used during musical events in the Atrium.  Hope this helps.

My favorite time on the ship is sailaway.  After a fun day of beach and sun, sitting on the balcony with a cold gin and tonic in my hand, watching the island quietly slip away in the distance and wondering what adventures the next day will bring.

Hi Julie,  we are on the Jewel on Jan. 5th. We will probably be passing each other in the terminal.  Please post some pictures of the new features of the ship, and maybe some of the ports you will be visiting.

Just got off the Dawn.  The Ribeye was written on Cagney's menu but waiter said it was not available.  I was soooo looking forward to a nice fat juicy Ribeye and was very disappointed when I could not order it.

I sure hope everything is okay on the Dawn (especially the casino), because we get on her next week.

We would love to see the Terra Cotta Warriors when we are there in January. Do you suggest that we purchase tickets in advance of our arrival. I have always wanted to see them and would be sad to miss our one opportunity.

I have to agree with you on the Norway, late 90s, Rock and Roll cruise. We had an amazing time and enjoyed every moment of that cruise. That ship got me addicted to cruising and we have cruise every year since then.

Tahiti is my favorite place of all.

We sailed on the Pearl just before you, and just loved this ship. You are right, the crew is awesome. The ship is just the right size for us and we really enjoyed every port (except for Roatan.... the shore excursions were rained out) but we were able to get off the ship and wander through the little stores at the port.

I also agree with you about the chairs in Cagneys. I am a short lady and the chairs are very uncomfortable. My feet don't touch the floor and after sitting awhile, it starts to hurt my legs. I think a long legged man must have selected these chairs. lol!!!

Just curious, what is an ULTRA cruise?

We are leaving on the Escape in May, and my daughter just asked me if they have any Zumba classes. I read through all of the dailies and could not find any classes. Oh well. But thanks for posting these!!!

Could someone explain the Crab Shack? Do they have it on all Princess Ships now? We are leaving on the Crown on Saturday and would love to check into this.
