I thought it was 3 nights - we arrive Sunday 4/2 at 12:30pm and leave on Wednesday 4/5 at 7:00am.  We don't really spend any time there on Wednesday, but we are docked for the Tuesday-Wednesday overnight.  Or do I have the itinerary wrong?

Not sure what cruise you are on. I'm on the Prima departing NYC on 4/2.

Wow, I am on this cruise too and had no idea we would overnight 3 nights in Bermuda. Check your itinerary again. I believe we are only there 2 overnights.

You are correct, I meant 3 days/2 overnights.

  3. I did our online check in for upcoming cruise with my son out of NYC. I was able to select 10 am check in time slot but when I got to his registration earliest time available was 11 am so we have two different check in times even though we are in the same cabin. I want to check in at 10, not 11.  Also I am Sapphire Latitudes so should that allow us to check in anytime?

  4. I know entertainment is bookable 21 days before cruise but I was told because I am Sapphire Latitudes I can book at the 25 day window. Yesterday was 25 days out and the entertainment options appeared available for me to select date and time but when I put them in my cart I get an error message. I called NCL 3x yesterday including tech help who said it was a technical issue and reported it. Nobody was able to book these for me since they experienced the same glitch. They keep telling me to keep trying. Just tried again, now 24 days out and same glitch. I was really hoping to take advantage of this jump start on booking but nobody seems to be able to help. Anyone else have this issue and how did you resolve it? Thanks.

  5. See below- the latitudes "benefit" for wifi doesn't really exist as you can't use it on anything you'd actually want to use it for.

Here is your answer to #3 from the Latitudes Rewards Terms and Conditions:

Internet package discounts are eligible for the Unlimited 1 device and Unlimited Premium 1 device Wifi packages. Discount is not valid on Free at Sea Wifi Packages Upgrades or time-based Wifi Packages. Discount may be applied online if the Internet Package is purchased prior to the cruise or once the guest is onboard.

    Hi,

#3 Question:  When I went to book my 100 minutes and got to the payment page the Sapphire 20% discount didn't show up.  I phoned NCL and was told to go to Guest Services when I get onboard to receive it.  Why not online?  I didn't ask.

Sorry for the italics but I can't seem to change it.

    Enjoy planning your cruise, happytotravel

    1.  Pre-Cruise Service Desk.  What is this and how does one access it?

    2.  Signature Tier Pins - weve never gotten pins of any kind.  Do these need to be requested?

    3.  Internet Package Discount - is the "upgrade" to unlimited wifi beyond the 150 minutes considered a "package"?

Everyone gets the same. Platinum Plus members used to get 250 minutes before the Free at See Take All 4.

Right, so if everyone gets the same, it is not a Latitude perk. They've taken away any additional internet minutes/plan as a benefit. They could give a a discount on the upgrade to Sapphire but they don't.

  8. "You should have received 150 internet minutes each from Free at Sea which can be upgraded to an unlimited plan - similar to what you used to get. "

I am confused- doesn't everyone get the same free at sea 150 minutes? Can this be upgraded for free if you are Sapphire? Or do you have to pay the same upgrade as everyone else? Trying to understand this as I am Sapphire and it seems like a loss of a benefit to me, but perhaps I am misunderstanding.

Sapphire's 20% discount is not combinable with the offered "upgrade" ... looks like it's based on a 7 nights cruise with 125 free minutes included.  If you wait until onboard & upgrade at 00:01 after midnight, it's Day 2 and you will be charged for 6 days, less the trade-in credit ... your net cost will be lowered by $30 to about $80.  And, if you have any non-refundable OBC, they will be applied to offset automatically - which you cannot do pre-cruise.

Thanks for this. The package I have with the free at sea promo is the 150 minute package on a 7 night Prima sailing. How much does it cost to upgrade to unlimited on board? I am not able to find this info anywhere. That is why I am having trouble comparing.

  10. I haven't cruised in a few years so am a little rusty. I have the internet package included with Free at Sea for upcoming cruise on Prima. In My NCL account I have a Free at Sea offer to upgrade to unlimited wifi for $109.93 per person. I am also Sapphire Latitudes which gets a 20% discount on internet packages. Would that get me the upgraded unlimited internet package at less than $109.93? Trying to figure out if I am better off upgrading now or once onboard. Thanks for any insight.
