We leave Saturday thanks for the information on the Beattles. Do you need reservations for the cavern club?

Looking at the New England trip, HA is one of the two that visit PE island, where the other only will in the late fall. So wondering if anyone knows how they are approaching this policy....are they intending on changing this in 2016 or 2017?
How bad is it really...I know from reading its allowed on the top deck (fine) and the casino (expected), but on the decks. Having someone next door or underneath can be annoying, irritating, etc yet its the right of the person to do this of course. Is it becoming less and less or more since they are the only one that really allows it now?

Took a case of unopened water in a checked bag on the Freedom in April. It had a note inside saying it had been cleared.

We were on the Oasis February 2014 and ate all our dinners in the mdr and enjoyed all our meals. Including the one night we ate in the windjammer. They had some of the same main courses as the mdr. We ate breakfast one breakfast in the buffet and it was ok but way too crowded. At the time there were not any made to order omelettes at the wipeout. We ended up at Johnny Rockets every morning. We love Park Cafe for lunch.
This past July we did the NCL Jewel to Alaska (loved the ship, entertainment, and crew) but we tried 2 meals in the mdr for dinner and it was awful. We ended up eating at the buffet for most of our meals since we could at least find something to eat. Pretzel rolls are the best. A couple of times we ate at O'Sheehans (we liked the pot pie and prime rib). Overall we weren't happy with their food. Since then I have heard they were supposedly improving their food quality. I did enjoy their buffet for breakfast.
I think our next cruise we will be trying NCL again or even a newer ship on Carnival because of the high prices on Royal.

Things we loved about the Jewel. The cruise staff, shows, trivia, and all kinds of live music. Also Jamie the cd and her staff. To be honest we didnt like either of our 2 meals in the mdr but we always found something in the buffet. We loved the prime rib and the chicken pot pie at Osheehans.

Tsar's Palace, Topsiders Grill, and O'Sheehan's along with tbe buffet were open when we went in June

I was on the Oasis in February I felt the food in the mdr was good. We avoid the windjammer but did have dinner there on formal night and enjoyed it.
We went on NCL Jewel in June. We did not like either of the 2 dinners we had in the mdr. We ate at OSheehans twice and enjoyed it the rest of the time we ate at the buffet for all 3 meals. We always found something. I had some of the best Salmon from the buffet.

Loved the staff, the shows and activities were great on our Jewel cruise 2 weeks ago but the food in the MDR for dinner was the worst we have every had. However we were usually able to find something in the buffet or O Sheehans (pot pies were really good). I had some of the best salmon in the buffet and OSheehans had a great prime rib.

I am not sure if you can just get on the shuttle after the cruise but they do have a stand under the skywalk at pier 66.
We booked a round trip from our hotel to the pier and then pier to the airport. When we got to the shuttle after the cruise they had our name on a list and he crossed off our name, we just paid the driver when he dropped us off.

It went straight from the pier to the airport. We were told it would go to the airport first then take the other passengers to hotels. From our hotel to the pier we did make 4 stops.

We just got off the Jewel Sunday and used Seattle Express. They were on time to pick us up at our hotel even though the hotel wasnt one of their regular stops. We walked off at 7:15 and got right on the shuttle we were at the airport before 8:00 and through check in and security within 15 minutes. If you are trying to make an 11:00 flight I would do walk off. I did notice by 10 am the airport was a lot busier and the security lines longer. I wouldnt hesitate to use Seattle Express again. It was $24 round trip pp.

I have been watching the prices right now the ov has jumped from 629 to 1299 for our week. I am hoping they will drop. Looking at the cruise that leaves on this saturday the price difference would be 240 more pp. What is a good deal on an upgrade?

Leaving on the Jewel on the 21st. Anything that is a must see or do? We booked a guarantee ov, we usually do balconies so I am a litttle nervous.
-
We did a train/bus combo that went to Liarsville for a salmon bake and the Red Onion Saloon (not appropriate for kids) we really enjoyed it.

Thanks for all your help

I just noticed you have done the cruise we are doing. Any advice, must sees, or Jewel secrets? Our last cruise there was a fiasco due to major Noro outbreak. We were always late disembarking because port authorities were afraid of sick passengers.
Just off the BLISS.....

I really appreciate your help. I meant to ask about reservations for the comedy club. I have already booked the two shows but for the comedy it said not available to book online.
