  1. Hi Alex, right before you enter into the WindJammer, there is always a greeter! Typically they stand right by or in front of one of several hand santizer dispensers. In our past cruises, the attendant did little but say Hello, Good morning, and so forth. On the Indy, the attendants, one in particular, actually sing songs to remind you to wash your hands, hence, "Washey, Washey" She uses quite a number songs to accomplish her request. It's a fun, pleasant greeting while at the same time, it delivers a great message. She mixes up pretty good as she does a little jive and actually has people dancing w/ her and mixing up. It's very innovative.

    Hope this helps!

This was one of the things about the we will remember for a long time. My 2 young nieces loved going to Windjammer every day and seeing the Washey, Washey girl.

  2. Excellent review. I was on the Allure in October the week you were. Really brought back good memories! Thank you.:)

Writing the review kept those great memories alive.

Great review and photos. Enjoyed reading this thread as we are scheduled to sail Allure in a few weeks. We cruised on Oasis several months ago and are looking forward to experiencing Allure. Thanks for downloading all the daily compass sheets it gives us an idea how to plan as we are doing a western itinerary as well.:)

Thanks for reading! I'm glad you you enjoyed

I see that you found the Gnome. Was he out in the open or did you have to search for him? There is a 2nd Gnome which is the original one, Garry. Were you able to find him as well. There's an interesting story behind the Garry gnome. One of the original officers on the ship was Garry and when he left the ship he left behind a the gnome.

Fantastic pictures. Its great to see some of the new features of Oasis. Thanks for posting!
